Spectacular boutique property right in the middle of the village. We ditched the rental car and booked a transfer which was definitely the right thing to do as parking is miles away outside the walls if you have luggage. Beautiful rooms, stunning location, wonderful staff, big shout out for Roxanne especially. This place is just so relaxing and so atmospheric walking back after dinner in the lamplight and NO CARS! Heaven! Two nights/days was perfect to explore the immediate area. True to it's Relais & Chateaux status, this place is just exquisite.

I absolutely loved my stay at Le Saint Paul (Relais & Châteaux). It’s nestled right in the main lane of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and my room overlooked the ramparts and the village on the opposite side, which honestly felt like waking up inside a painting. Every detail was thoughtful: from the frilled key (no robotic card here!) to the softly opulent, almost princess-like interiors. The atmosphere was romantic and timeless without sacrificing any modern amenities. The staff was welcoming, gracious and always willing to help with reservations or local tips. I honestly don’t think you can do better in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.

My family has stayed in several Relais Chateau hotels and we have greatly enjoyed each. I have never written a review, however, I have decided to for this particular location. This hotel is set in an absolutely beautiful, historic location. Highly recommended this town, but ……. the service at this particular hotel is not what it should be. Coming from someone who has worked several years in globally recognized renowned luxury hotels, this does not even come close to meeting the standards of a luxury hotel. Don’t get me wrong, we had a nice stay, but for the price we paid, the service does not meet expectations whatsoever. I give the hotel itself 3.5 stars for where it’s located, but I give the service maybe 1 star. I’ve stayed in many Hampton Inns and such in my time and they honestly have much better service. For the price you pay here, I highly recommend OTHER Relais Chateau hotels. I could give many examples of the poor service here. Sorry, but for the price we paid, would much rather have stayed elsewhere.
