What a wonderful fairytale stay! We had an attic suite for our babymoon. I can not imagine any better place for the occasion. Our suite were decorated in a “hobbit inspired theme” with arched doors and huge bathroom with a bathtub-jacuzzi! Our host Jeremy was very pleasant and kind to let us check in early. We had an electric kettle (it is rare in hotels in the US) in the room and could make our morning and evening tea without leaving the room. So much reminded me some place in Europe. Overall it was a fairytale-spa like experience and excellent choice for our event. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay very much. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The Inn at Woodhaven was a wonderful place to stay. Jeremy, the host gave us a fascinating tour. Everything was perfect down to the last detail including complimentary sherry in each room.

Beautiful B &B. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Jeremy and Mark are wonderful hosts! Very accommodating. Great food. Varied selections for breakfast options. Large selection of bourbons for the tasting. Will definitely book again if in the area.

This little getaway in St Matthew's has always been great but with the new ownership it has turned into an annual MUST do! The style is a bold Gothic look with comfortable antique furniture and brand new beds. There is such attention given to every detail and such friendly service from the Innkeepers that your experience will be great. If you're considering stays in Lousiville, are a fan of great breakfasts, and hate hidden charges, this is the place for you. All charges are accounted for on an invoice that you receive weeks in advance, no checking in and getting hit with an unknown security deposit. Please give this place a go whether you're traveling, or local and need some quiet.

We were thrilled to return to the Inn for our third visit and second stay in the Rose Room, where every moment feels like a dream come true. This exquisitely restored Victorian home, dating back to the 1800s, is a masterpiece of elegance and warmth. From Jeremy's gracious welcome to Mark's sublime gourmet breakfast, every detail is a testament to the love and dedication that goes into making each guest's stay unforgettable.

My sister and I have made the trip down to Louisville from Chicago for the past three years for tea at the Conrad-Caldwell House and then a restful night's stay at the Inn at Woodhaven. The past two trips, we spent the night in the attic and just love the coziness and relaxing atmosphere of the room. There is also a wonderful jetted-bathtub and steam shower in the room. The bed and bedding are nothing short of luxurious. Jeremy and Mark are wonderful people who are always available to accommodate their guests' wants and needs. We also had a great visit this past weekend with wonderful guests from Indiana and Ohio. We all sat around the fireplace and admired the beautifully decorated Christmas tree as we sipped on bourbon and conversed.

Visited from Florida in early December so my wife & I could get in the Holiday wintry spirit, boy was mission accomplished!Jeremy & Mark (owners of the Inn at Woodhaven) have the Inn set up to infuse their visitors with the sights & smells of the Holidays.There are 27 decorated Christmas trees throughout the property, multi colored lights of all shapes and sizes and the smells from Mark’s kitchen creations and scented candles permeating throughout. All this being in addition to the comfortable room accommodations and fabulous homemade breakfast.Do yourself and loved ones a favor and experience the Inn at Woodhaven.
