The Silver Lake Lodge is one of my favorite getaways—a hidden gem for sure. Andrew and Margaret are gracious hosts. Breakfasts are a work of art! Their service makes it extra special. I love the lodge's location at 10,500 ft. It's an easy walk to the St Mary's Glacier trailhead and other nearby hiking trails. It's also an easy drive to Georgetown and Frisco/Breckenridge. Room #1 (my favorite) has incredible views from the deck and the adjacent window. When I wasn't out hiking, I enjoyed the solitude of my room, free from the distractions of a television. There are plenty of warm blankets to nestle into when temperatures dip at night. Access to hot water for tea or hot chocolate any time during the day or night is a plus. A relaxing getaway with a spouse/partner or on your own. This is the first place I consider when looking for a change of scenery.

The Silver Lake Lodge was a great B&B. Nestled in the mountains, it is somewhat remote, but that's what we wanted. You can walk to the trail to St. Mary's Glacier, which was a fun experience. The place was decorated nicely and the breakfasts were wonderful. The hosts were very nice and helpful. There is no a/c so if you hit a hot spell, it can be hot during the day, but the nights cool off. We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at the Lodge! Hosts were incredibly attentive to my every need, making my 50th Bday celebration truly unforgettable. The place is cozy and welcoming, with a beautiful, spacious deck perfect for relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, and the surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning-breathtaking views in every direction. A truly memorable experience! As a writer I shared my coffee table book with hosts and future visitors :-)

Our stay at The Silver Lake Lodge was truly a rejuvenating escape. The lodge's location nestled in the mountains was breathtaking, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was comfortable and lovely with all ammenties and views beyond expectations. The innkeepers, Margaret and Andrew were incredibly, friendly and skilled. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and exceptional gourmet optional dinner. We highly recommend The Silver Lake Lodge for anyone seeking a tranquil, high quality experience and memorable getaway.

Way out of the way and even more worth it.
I wasnt sure what to expect about this hotel and i have to tell you, it exceded all of my expectations. It is a rustic, beautiful space with few amenities and major personality and charm. The owners are amazing, the food is fantastic, and the views are beyond words. Came for just a romantic night away and this place took a piece of our heart in the best ways.
