Avoid this inn if you want a pleasant relaxing break Management is a joke. For those of you who remember the tv series Faulty Towers this is it. Rude aggressive managers. Don't dare to raise a query or complain or you will be treated as a disobedient child would have been 50 years ago.

In response to the last review the comments made by the writer are totally inaccurate and I would query the identity of this writer as the only other guests during our stay were two gentlemen who told us that they were staying not 3 nights as stated but 5 and were there to attend a funeral. We had a number of pleasant conversations with these men therefore I find it hard to believe that they are the authors of this so called review. Bearing in mind the problems detailed in my first review I felt perfectly justified in requesting a reduction in the accommodation bill but I would point out that I asked for this on TWO occasions only and not constantly as stated. This was also requested to the manager in private and could not have been overheard by any supposed guest. I leave the readers of these reviews to draw their own conclusions as to the writer of the disputed review.

Wonderful stay Family gathering brought us to stay in Richmond. Warm welcome from staff tip top room and best of views. Breakfast was worth getting out of the comfortable beds for and couldn't fault any of the food we tried from the menu. Reasonably priced and great base for sight seeing and walking Look forward to visiting again in the future

Really disappointed with the service and the food. We had booked as a group for a light buffet but the food was terrible. All cold picnic food which looked like it had just been picked up from the supermarket and put on a plate, nothing home made. We phoned the week before advising of dietary requirements and nothing was provided for these individuals but they were still charged! Absolutely appalling customer service and food. Such a shame as I had been there the previous year for a meal and it was lovely. Will not be going back.

Nice stay in a great location
Great location , stunning views , friendly place , nice food
Room 3 , did not spoil trip but mattresses felt a bit basic and oddly whilst hot water to basin taps , could not get the shower hot . So evening and morning tepid quick shower . Maybe my error or problem with shower
