We stayed for 6 nights in a large and well-appointed garden room. Very peaceful location but easy walk to many restaurants. Valet parking efficient. Staff really delightful. Breakfast excellent. Also garden and pool area (though pool area small with limited seating which may be an issue in busier times as guests from sister hotel can use it). Much enjoyed our stay UNTIL major problem at check-out. We booked on-line and it was made clear in writing that - to confirm the reservation - a 50% deposit was required. This was duly taken from my credit card well before arrival. On check out they had no record of the (large) deposit payment and did not make any effort to try to find it. I therefore paid the full amount. On return home I checked with my bank that the deposit payment had indeed been made and emailed all the confirmation codes to the hotel, which finally - and I have to say rather lazily - repaid the amount clearly due, some 15 days after check out. Which very much spoiled the experience - and may serve as a warning to others if their accounting systems are so bad.

Cette bâtisse regorge de charme, mêlant authenticité, intimité, luxe (discret) et raffinements. Des espaces généreux et cosy au personnel particulièrement professionnel et avenant, de la literie palace aux produits d’hygiène de grand standing, de la situation géographique aux services proposés (spa, restaurant savoureux, location de vélos), tout est pensé pour créer une alchimie rare: être proche de tout, se sentir loin de tout. Merci pour cette délicieuse expérience.

Le service n'est pas au rendez-vous pour un (non) 5 étoiles : 1) pas de staff au petit déjeuner, 2) pas de rideau dans la chambre, 3) piscine toute petite et pas chauffée. Bref pas la prestation d'un 5 etoile et un mauvais rapport qualité-prix.

This hotel is beautifully decorated. The gardens are very well maintained and a nice space to relax. I thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the newly renovated pool. Centrally located if you like to wonder around town do some shopping or enjoy a nice sunset with a chilled glass of wine.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits à la Villa Clarisse absolument dépaysantes. Notre chambre était lumineuse et décorée avec soin. Le jardin était magnifique avec ses fleurs, son petit bassin et c’était très agréable de prendre le petit déjeuner dehors. Mention spéciale pour l’espace piscine et le tout nouveau spa, qui nous on permis de nous détendre complément pendant tout notre séjour ! Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir l’été prochain.

Un week-end absolument ressourçant à la Villa Clarisse : un havre de paix au sein d’une nature authentique. La piscine et le spa nous ont permis une détente totale, après le meilleur des petits déjeuners ! Kids friendly, la Villa Clarisse accueille les familles avec une grande gentillesse !

The racist accessories in the bathroom are outrageous ! A Black man squatting in the corner next to matches, as an accessory. This is unbelievable !! I can't believe that nobody else has reported that yet !
