Chalet Altitude Val Thorens

We stayed in an apartment for 6 people. Apartment was lovely & furnished to accommodate all living and cooking requirements. Heating of the apartment was excellent, always warm through the whole place. My only frustration was during busy times in the day (when people return from the slopes) the water was regularly cold and would not facilitate a shower or bath. This would often be the case for the whole hour 5pm-6pm occasionally longer.

Great accommodation. The apartment has everything we needed- modern and well equipped. A local shop is across the street to grab food and toiletries, and there’s also a pub and restaurant just down the street. The main area of Val Thorens is a 10 minute walk to access more shops and lovely places to eat & drink. The chalet is located away from the main ski slope but there is a blue run track that you can ski from outside the chalet. (It’s steep in places if you’re a beginner!) We found it best to use the free shuttle bus that pulled up outside the chalet every 20mins and brought us straight to Montana- which is the stop next to the ski school area/green slopes. The pool area was always quiet in the morning when kids were at ski school. Lovely sauna. Overall great accommodation.
