The hotel is marketed as a 5-star luxury property, primarily due to its ski activities and prime location. While the rooms are cozy and the food is good, the service does not consistently match the hotel's 5-star rating. It's not that you won't be treated well, but if you're someone who pays attention to detail, you may find the service in the dining and bar areas lacking. Additionally, the breakfast, though decent, falls short of luxury standards and could use an upgrade. My family has stayed at this hotel three times and will likely return, largely because there aren't many alternatives in Val Thorens at this level. However, during our last visit, we opted for breakfast only, having grown tired of the repetitive dinner menus and inconsistent service in the main restaurant. On a positive note, we only dined at the main restaurant due to our young daughter, and I believe the other restaurants within the hotel may offer a higher level of service. It's also worth mentioning that not all staff members are lacking in competence. After three visits, it's clear that the hotel struggles to find high-quality staff for the entire ski season. However, given the high prices, guests should not have to contend with these staffing issues.

Cuisine mauvaise, pdts de mauvaise qualite yc au petit dej. Desorganisation complete de l equipe de restauration, il manque un manager experimente. Dommage, bel endroit, bel etablissement, SPA parfait comme les services du voiturier et du skiroom. Enfin…le chauffage est au maximum dans les chambres, impossible de le reduire ou stopper, il faut ouvrir les p.fenetres toute la nuit. Incroyable mais vrai. Horrible

We used the Spa for relaxing massage. Leah was such a professional host and I felt great after her massage.
I will be returning to this hotel for sure. 5* hotel and gave a 5* service.
One area that could be better was the menu in the main restaurant. I suggest offering some classic dishes for dinner.
Also a good idea to have salt and pepper on the tables instead of having to keep asking for them.
This wouldn't stop me returning. Beautiful hotel and staff.

I was there in the final week of the season, with the Residence mostly full, the hotel section closed, and minimal staff (Pierre really was our knight in shining armour), but the experience was still excellent. We were looked after extremely well, and the room, facilities, and pastry deliveries were all first class. The only small down side was the children dive-bombing in the pool. Still highly recommended!

Excellent hôtel, globalement sans fausse note entre la chambre sympa avec balcon bien exposé, restauration de grande qualité (merci au chef d’être économe en sel et non en saveurs pour des plats toujours très appétissants) malgré un choix important. Buffet de fruits de mer apprécié et buffets de desserts sympas chaque jour. Service très sympa. Petit déjeuner très bien. Bar sympa, très bons cocktails. Restaurant de spécialités savoyardes également très agréable. Spa au niveau, grandes piscines, sauna extérieur tendance. Ski shop très agréable, spacieux, avec une super équipe, facile d’accès des pistes.

Séjour de dernière minute réalisé à la résidence Koh i Nor. Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix : accueil , réactivité et disponibilité du personnel ( Merci Pierre) . Appartement très propre , spacieux et fonctionnel. Parking accessible et spacieux. La résidence est un peu éloignée du centre de la station mais le service de navette est impeccable .. et l’éloignement apporte aussi un certain calme diurne … et surtout nocturne … Nous recommandons donc sans hésiter .

This place does not disappoint, 5 star all the way through, ski in ski out. Pierre looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble. Bread and croissants delivered to our door every morning. Great location. Very clean throughout. Pleasant staff.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au sein de ce superbe complexe hôtelier qui mérite entièrement ses 5 étoiles . Tout est fait de façon à passer un agréable séjour ( navette , piscine , spa , accueil, restauration). Le personne est au petit soins pour que votre séjour soit agréable . De l accueil au petit déjeuner en passant par le skishop , nous avons été accueilli avec professionnalisme et bienveillance . Accès direct aux pistes depuis le skishop où le personnel installe directement vos skis prêt à partir sur la piste . Petit déjeuner de qualité avec un choix incroyable ( mention spécial pour le Cake à la pistache et les muffins myrtilles ) et un service hôtelier plus que professionnel . L espace bien être est un ha te de paix avec en prime un sauna extérieur face au montagne . Même les enfants ont des peignoirs et des chaussons à leur taille . Une belle découverte de fin de saison . Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute l année prochaine
