A beautiful old building in the heart of a beautiful old village but with all the modern conveniences. Great local restaurants. We will be going again.

The room number 3 was spacious and convenient to two restaurants although the restaurant that was attached and assumed to be part of the hotel was not open at all. There was only a code entrance to the hotel and no information how to get in until we arrived and had to phone for information. The entrance and lobby is very tired and uninviting. The bathroom had a dirty and worn sealant around the whole of the floor/wall tiles to the point of being disgusting. The bed mattress is a cheap foam and uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that the price was fair.

Bonne grandeur de logement mais la résidence est désuète. La cuisine de type papa bricole, le robinet éclabousse, les ronds de la cuisinière chauffent difficilement, le petit poêle est sale ainsi que la vaiselle. Il n'y avait personne à l'appartement à notre arrivée. Le lit était confortable cependant.

De passage à Saint Macaire nous avons profité de cette alte pour découvrir ce village très beau. Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable. Responsable très à l'écoute les chambres sont très spacieuses très propre. Un petit déjeuner excellent. Rien à redire merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse.

Auf meinem Weg nach Spanien übernachtete ich im freundlichen kleinen Städtchen Saint-Macaire bei Les Tilleus. Kostenlose Parkplätze gab es an der Straße direkt vor dem Hotel. Zum Hotel geht man durch den großen grünen Außenbereich des Restaurants, dass direkt unter den Zimmern liegt. Das Restaurant war allerdings geschlossen und ich musste auch erstmal schauen, wo ich den einen Eingang finde, der zur Rezeption führt. Durch einen langen Gang fand ich dann aber den richtigen Weg und dann kam auch jemand zum Check-in. Dieser war freundlich und nach dem Gang durch das ausladende Treppenhaus konnte ich mein riesiges Zimmer bestaunen, das sehr vielseitig und bunt ausgestattet war, auch wenn nicht alles wirklich zusammenpasste. Auch wirkten einige Details ein wenig improvisiert. Toll war jedoch der langgestreckte Balkon, von dem man von dem alten Gebäude auf die Restaurantterrasse hinunterblickt. Auch wenn das Hotel ein wenig einsam wirkte und wohl ein wenig frischen Wind gebrauchen könnte: Ich habe in dem großen Bett gut geschlafen und fand meinen Aufenthalt angenehm.

3 nuits passées et que du positif. Très bon accueil. La literie un régal Très bien accueilli Très propre. Tout est au top. J'ai pu profiter du spa avec une température et un havre de paix qui fait du bien lorsque la journée est finie. Je reviendrai sans hésiter
