Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Louis Downtown

My wife and I had a one night stay at this location. The stay did not get off to a good start. Despite arriving at 4pm, our room was not ready and the front desk attendant was rude and also never recognized me as a Diamond member. We were pleasantly surprised there was an Evening reception on a Sunday and we enjoyed the snacks and drinks. The room was nice and spacious and met all our needs. The only complaint we had with the room was the bed lining was aged and needs to be replaced. Maybe the best part of the stay was the breakfast. The Omlete Chief was outstanding and made our our omlete just like we wanted. Although the breakfast area was busy and crowded, the entire staff in the area made our experience very enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is a few blocks from the Gateway Arch and is an easy walk.

The valet team greeted us and our mass of luggage promptly and graciously. We had a roof top luggage carrier, and they advised us that it would not fit in their parking deck (height-wise). Dae and his colleague assisted us with removal and brought it to our room for easy storage during our stay. Friendly and helpful - can’t beat that! We were in and out the full trip and the team were consistently responsive and pleasant.

The first room has Dirty Socks in the closet. All the furniture was torn damaged the drawers wouldn’t close on the dresser, it was dusty I was worried about the electrical cuz it was so old looking . old crumbs all by the microwave didn’t look like anyone cleaned the room at all . The air conditioner is not in the bedroom it’s in the table sitting area with a weird wood box sitting o the top of it with a rusty grill where the air comes out . very dirty carpet with lots of stains and couch very stained …it was a room gifted to us for free so we had to stay but the peeps that gave it to us would have never stayed here had they seen it . The lobby was stinkin hot no air conditioning , couldn’t get excited about the breakfast cuz everything just seemed dirty( I’m a not a super clean freak or germaphobe either) Its gross . Don’t stay here.

The location was excellent and the check in was very smooth. The ladies at the desk were very polite and helpful. I want to give a special shout out to Joe the valet supervisor and Matthew for the extra special care they gave my family yesterday! I would recommend this hotel for families traveling to downtown St. Louis.

We had a great experience at the hotel. We had to take my son to the hospital quickly. The valet brought our car back so quickly. It got us on the road much faster than I expected. Thanks to Yashar and the crew!!
