L'Ancrage B&B and Cottages

This B&B is the perfect location to stay close to Kouchibouguac National Park. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel like family. The entire property is spotless. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Our first night , dinner was available, and we enjoyed a delicious pasta, salad and dessert for $20! The breakfasts were gourmet fare…we didn’t need to eat lunch. We almost hated to leave! Will definitely book again if we tour the area!

Excellent B&B in perfect location very close to Kouchibouguac National Park. Liane and Kores are fantastic hosts, we enjoyed our stay so much - we wish we could have stayed longer. Great breakfast, very clean spacious rooms and lots of valuable advice on what to see in Kouchibouguak. There is also a communal kitchen with a fridge and a microwave as well as free parking and a washing machine. Liane and Kores are fluent in at least 4 languages, which is so impressive and very helpful (English, French, Dutch and German), arranging things and communication is easy. Definitely a recommendation - thanks for having us, we hope to be back one day!

This is a gem! Somehow we had expected an ordinary stop on our tour around New Brunswick but it was amazing. Wonderful welcome and catering at breakfast by Cores and Liane, always accommodating. Great amenities in the room and wonderful river view. Walking distance to great restaurant over the bridge in St Louis. And especially convenient access to Kouchibouguac Park for wildlife and scenery, great walks (saw a bear and several bald eagles, alpine warblers, shore / horned larks and more Wonderful stop around Acadia.

This place is an absolute gem! The hosts Liane and Kores are warmly welcoming and immediately made us feel at home even before we’d seen our room. They also had great recommendations for dinner and activities. We stayed in the Anchor Room and it was spacious and absolutely spotless, with a lovely view across the back lawn and river. Breakfast was outstanding, including fresh fruit, yogurt, egg, cheese, waffles and maple syrup — it set us up perfectly for a day at Kouchibouguac National Park, just minutes down the road. If you’re in the area, we truly can’t recommend this place highly enough!
