We’ve just come back from a stay at Yellowbird Hotel and, honestly, it exceeded our expectations in every way. What really made the experience stand out was the people. The bartenders were brilliant — friendly, attentive, and always happy to chat or recommend something new. The reception team were equally fantastic: welcoming, efficient, and incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything. Whether it was arranging excursions or giving local tips, nothing was ever too much trouble. The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention — the rooms were spotless every day, with fresh towels and everything kept to a really high standard. The facilities themselves were excellent. Having a kitchenette made a big difference for flexibility, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a must in the heat), and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. Everything felt well thought-out and cared for. The view was another highlight — waking up to that outlook every day never got old. And the location is hard to beat. Being right on St. Lawrence Gap means you’re in the heart of everything: restaurants, bars, and a lively atmosphere just steps away. In terms of value, we were genuinely impressed. For what you get — the service, the facilities, the location — it felt like exceptional value for money. The only thing worth noting (and this is more of an observation than a negative) is that the hotel is right on the Gap, which is one of the most vibrant and lively areas. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, it’s something to be aware of. That said, it’s exactly what you’d expect from such a prime location, and for us, it added to the overall experience rather than detracted from it. Overall, we’ve been incredibly happy with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended.
