Very nice hotel and staff. The seaweed was pretty bad but that's out of the hotel's control. Some of the facilities could use updating, but overall this was a nice, family-friendly resort with a welcoming atmosphere. Loved the replica of the Christopher Columbus's ship and the wedge salad at the bar restaurant. Booked a day trip to Nevis which was fun but overpriced. Still overall a great experience! Hotel was very clean and well-kept.

I stayed at the St. Kitts Marriott Hotel for five days as part of my 35th anniversary high school class reunion. There were about 23 of us that stayed at this hotel for this occasion. This was the perfect spot for all planned activities especially the music festival. This is a spacious and absolutely gorgeous hotel. The grounds are picturesque and they’ve done a great job with the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds and the hotel. Their staff was professional and courteous. My check-in process was a bit cumbersome. I did a mobile check-in 24 hrs before my arrival, but somehow it still did not create a seamless process when I arrived to pick up the keys. I had to go through the entire check-in process again which was a bit confusing to me. My check-in process took about 30 minutes! This unexpected delay caused me to be late for the class dinner. My room was fantastic. The set up was perfect for my needs. It was spacious, cleaned well, and the bed was very comfortable. I had a view of the resort which was lovely. My room did have an iron and an ironing board; however, I had difficulty with the iron as it kept leaking water despite what setting it was on. I could tell that it was a much older iron as well because all the labels on the dial were no longer visible. The iron eventually got the job done. I got a chance to attend the fire pit event during my stay which was nice. I did not have sufficient time to use the pool or take a stroll along the beach side of the hotel though. I also did not get the opportunity to try any of the restaurants or shop at any of the stores at the hotel. Perhaps another time. I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this hotel. After my check-in snafu, everything else went well until it was time for me to check-out. I uncovered a big discrepancy with my bill. As I check out of any hotel, I like to do one last review of my bill before leaving just in case there are any discrepancies. It’s a good thing that I did that for this hotel as well. There were several charges on my bill for meals at a restaurant at the hotel; however, I did not have an opportunity to eat at any restaurants at the hotel. I informed the rep about the discrepancy. She went and pulled the receipts for those meals to review them. The receipt had my room number on it; however, the name did not match my name on any of the receipts. I initially thought that someone was trying to scam me or commit fraud then she mentioned that there are different buildings at the hotel with the same room numbers. This means that it’s possible that the room number was correct but since the building was not referenced on the receipt, the hotel rep just probably assigned it to my room since they did not know which building the person was in. I was very surprised to know that there are buildings within the same hotel with the exact same room numbers yet there is no way to identify that on the receipts when someone charges something up to their room. My stay at the Marriot was amazing and was very relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and Selena French was amazing with both the adults and the kids. We will definitely be back!

Property was clean. room service/cleaning crew was prompt and provided adequate towels and other amenities.
