Three Tuns

What lovely hospitality. From arrival til breakfast. Website doesn’t do it justice. Lovely rooms with nice touches such as bottles of fizzy water and fresh milk. Really good food, well priced in nice Edwardian surrounds. We filed our boots and hauled ourselves up the lovely staircase to be greeted by an option of a (free) night cap, in lovely carafes before bed. Jeremy and his wife can’t do enough for you and are there the next morning serving breakfast which had lots of interesting options. A welcoming pub, full of locals and charm.

A lovely old pub with lots of character set in the square of a beautiful village. The Staff were so friendly as were the locals. We were made to feel so welcome. Our room was very clean, bright and airy and the food was freshly cooked with very generous portions. We would definitely stay there again.

A very warm welcome from the staff on arrival. Nice room, excellent varied menu and great atmosphere. The Hosts and their Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help. Also very dog friendly! Lots of lovely coastal walks nearby.

The staff, the room, the food, the location were all fantastic. From the moment we stepped in the door, we were welcomed.Loved the young staff who were polite, helpful and smiley, a credit to the business. Thank you. We loved your little village too, very quaint. Loved the history.

Spent four nights at this authentic Cornish village inn at the start of our summer holiday in Cornwall. A very comfortable stay. Clean, cosy rooms, relaxed friendly vibe very good ales and food. The young staff were welcoming and friendly and a credit to the landlords who were taking a few days off. Particular credit must go to the young man who cooked and served our breakfasts and evening meals. A real asset to this super establishment. Cornwall always draws you back and places like the Three Tunns make it even harder to resist. We’ll be back. Steve and Sarah.

My wife and I were in one of the very comfortable glamping tents and the rest were in 4 rooms in the hotel. We all had dinner there on the first night (of 4) which was excellent and breakfast each morning. We were all amazed by the wonderful variety of dishes on the breakfast menu. Naomi and her staff were extremely friendly and all of us were delighted by our stay. It provided a great base from which to walk the Lizard peninsula. Being relatively local I will definitely be back and would highly recommend the establishment to anyone!

Booked a table for 7.15pm, arrived on time and it took 15 minutes for someone to take our order. 8.55pm and we had still not received any food. We were told after ordering that there was a backlog and the food normally comes out in 20 mins but we might be 10 mins after that. We asked at least three times for an update and were told they would check but staff avoided coming back to update us. Eventually, we were told there was a issue with the computer on the deep fryer but it was now working and food would be with us soon.Half an hour later, still no food and no update, so we walked out. The management were very unprofessional and left the young members of staff to field the questions from us and other diners who were also waiting. Appalling customer service making the evening very awkward and embarrassing for me and my husband. I would never grace these premises again.

We stayed 5 nights at this splendid Hotel/Pub. The hosts were excellent and all the staff very efficient and friendly. The room was very comfortable and all the food was excellent.It is a pity we live over 300 miles away as I would love The Three Tuns to be my local.
