Hotel was just outside of downtown but location wasn’t bad. The bathtub would fill up when taking a shower. Our room had a lot of patched holes. Overall it was ok but not worth the price.

The hotel is next to Lake Michigan and has beautiful scenery. The room is clean and tidy, with a microwave, air conditioner, and no slippers, toothbrushes or bottled water. Breakfast is relatively simple. I can't expect it to be as rich as at home. I like apples and a meaty salty porridge and eat it every day. The hotel service was very satisfactory, but there was an issue. I couldn't check out early, and Ctrip didn't inform me about it. On the last night, I applied for early check-out, but Ctrip told me that I couldn't do so. So I planned to go back and continue my stay, but the hotel canceled the room without refunding the room fee. At my request, the hotel manager helped me book a nearby hotel. Hotel, pay for yourself. After negotiating with Ctrip customer service for two or three days, I was refunded. This matter took up a lot of my time and alarmed many customer service staff. Ctrip's service is considered to be in place, and attention should be paid to the details of overseas bookings, which truly makes travel worry-free.

The lake view room has a great view. It is far away from traffic. It is very quiet. The front desk staff is very nice. There is a hotel next to it and it is convenient for dining. Still worth recommending.
