The little moose lodge was very close to the bike trail, very clean, and had everything we needed. The watering can shower was cool, but didn’t allow for adjusting the direction of the stream.

The renter was extremely responsive and provided detailed information to make the whole process easy and stress-free. The kitchen, though small, had most of the amenities required to prepare meals readily available. For our purposes, the location was ideal to navigate to multiple places of interest.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Our family of 4 stayed at Little Moose Lodge for one night and wished we had more time to explore! The bike trail, river access, historic sites and the charming town of St. Johnsonville were all very appealing. We enjoyed walking to a delicious breakfast at the Bridge Street Diner. And the tiny house itself was perfect for us. The loft steps are very steep, as mentioned, but the kids thought that just added to the adventure! They also loved seeing the cabooses on the property and hearing the trains go by. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay Clean, comfortable, peaceful place to step away and unwind. Chris is the best kind of host; all needs are addressed promptly and efficiently, he is not intrusive in the least but always available, and has thought of everything at the cabin to make it an easy, effortless stay. The surroundings are peaceful: river, woodchucks, birds, and foxes lend themselves to an enchanting atmosphere but never come too close to bother. Passing trains and churchbells are a thing, but again, add to the unique charm of the place. Looking forward to next time. Oh, and the plane on the roof of the building is icing on the cake!

Almost as described There are no questions to the house nor to property The reason of my 4 stars is the stairs. It is so sharp! If you have to step down especially during the night you have to be extremely careful Another problem for me (especially) were RR which is busy during the night and sounds loud Otherwise, there were great experience Thanks Chris
