The mattresses are comfortable, no noise pollution. Joe and Pascal are very pleasant hosts, they listen to the requests of pilgrims or tourists; the opening and closing times are reasonable.

My best friend and I started our Camino journey from SJPD Sept 2022 and stayed at this wonderful Gite on the first night. Pascal and Joe were so welcoming and settled any nerves we may have had. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and well located. The showers were great and the group dinner was just fabulous. Joe’s chef skills were amazing. Pascal was very entertaining and extremely knowledgeable on all things Camino. Such a positive wonderful start to our journey. Totally recommend Gîte Bidean

This hostel may not be the most luxurious in the world but Joe's endless hospitality deserves full marks. He cares at all times to assist pilgrims in everything and always with a smile. It is very well located on the main street next to the bridge. The correct and clean double rooms.
