I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Jersey Hotel in a stunning Seaview room, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The room offered breathtaking views of the sea, making each morning a delight to wake up to. The hotel exudes elegance and comfort, with impeccable service from the staff who were always attentive and friendly. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing stay. I would wholeheartedly rate my experience as 5 stars and highly recommend the Grand Jersey Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable getaway.

I was lucky enough to be given a voucher for a Hand Picked hotel, and having never visited the Channel Islands, we decided on Jersey. We stayed a few nights in a downmarket establishment which made us really appreciate the very high quality of the service, décor ,ambience and food at the Grand Jersey. I had booked an ocean view room, and indeed we had a superb outlook to Elizabeth Castle from our 3rd floor windows. The room décor was tastefully coordinated in dark brown and white, and the bathroom was in superb condition with modern fittings. Before our stay I read details on the hotel website with regard to eating arrangements. These proved to be very misleading. The main restaurant mentioned was the Tassili, with full meals at £75 per person, way beyond our budget. Otherwise mentioned were the informal Terrace and Afternoon Tea. The Champagne Lounge was described as a 'refined and elegant space for pre or post dinner drinks' and also 'to relax with a coffee or an afternoon tea' and 'ideal for evening cocktails'. Yet when we arrived the Champagne Lounge posted two full menus with prices very comparable with other restaurants outside. The selection and quality however were well above the norm, as was the impeccable service. Our choices were halloumi and watermelon salad, potted shrimp and smoked salmon mousse, and asparagus and parmesan millefeuille. Only when I checked back on the HandPicked Hotels website and opened Grand Jersey did I notice a reference to a brasserie restaurant in 'Elizabeth's'. At breakfast, in a different room, a wide buffet selection was offered, with items to order including my wife's much enjoyed choice of chorizo, goats cheese and olives on sourdough toast. Our one night stay at the Grand Jersey made a great end to our enjoyable and interesting visit to Jersey. Sent from my Galaxy
