The hotel is situated about a 10min walk from St Helier town centre. If you need a bus there are two stops within a 2min walk, and that's at snails pace. The hotel room that we had (47) was fine for our needs. A huge double bed and adequate storage for two people. The shower was easy to use. Even my wife could operate it after the initial "can you turn the shower on for me?" The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and the complimentary beverages and biscuits were topped up too. We were booked on a half board basis. The hotel food was plentiful and well cooked and the dining room arrangements worked like a well oiled machine. The domestic staff are a real credit to the business. Immaculately turned out and very attentive without being obtrusive. Bar prices are reasonable compared to town centre outlets and the communal areas are comfortable with seating that is more than enough to accommodate the guests. All in all the Norfolk Lodge isn't 5* but the service certainly is.

The hotel was ,lovely, very clean, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I want to pay particular reference to the receptionist on duty who very kindly bought us a cake for our daughter's birthday.i can't remember the receptionist 's name, maybe Nayley.Being a visitor I didn't know where to go. It really helped to make our stay more special. The entertainment was nice and relaxing at night. Thank you all very much.

Me and my friend went to Jersey channel island had a great time. The hotel was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great and lots of choice, it was a buffet so you could have as much as you wanted. I would go to Jersey again and stay in the same hotel.

Had the best time at this hotel. I was a solo traveller and that can be a bit daunting but the staff were absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. All very attentive and made you feel welcome. The food was good and plenty of it. The hotel was a little bit tired but nonetheless for that it was clean and tidy. It was a little way from St. Helier, but if you are able bodied access to the town can be made on foot. All trips can be booked at reception, so another easy part to your trip. I would definitely return Norfolk Lodge so look out for me.

The Norfolk Lodge hotel was perfect. The bedroom & ensuite bathroom was cleaned daily & bed made daily; even if I'd already made it! The staff could not have been more polite and helpful. An excellent breakfast. I ate a bar meal only on my first night; huge serving. I did not book in for dinner as I was out & about all day, so ate at a variety of restaurants on Jersey. Only drawback, there are a lot of stairs, so you must declare in advance if this is a problem for you. There is an indoor pool & a mini gym, I didn't use it, but had specifically chosen hotel as it offered these facilities. The weather was good enough to swim daily in the sea. 30 beaches for 30 days!

The hotel is full of stairs , you can't get anywhere in the building without stairs , so if you have mobility problems like myself it was a frustrating and difficult to move round the hotel .....literally nothing is accessible. The room was filled with too much furniture , it smelt really bad especially in the corridor outside and the wardrobes and drawers, like mouldy . I did not want to use them for my clean clothes The pillows were old and lumpy . The mattress very similar The breakfast was poorly presented and coffee stewed in jugs ....surely in this modern time they could have a coffee machine for guests . The evening food was poor and expensive The staff were polite and friendly trying to do their best

A lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Food excellent...great choice. Rooms lovely and very clean. Relaxed entertainment in the evening.
