The hotel, staff and food here are all first class. We were welcomed warmly by Nelson on reception, a really nice helpful guy, a credit to Best Western. Food quality, quantity and presentation is amazing at both breakfast and evening meal. All service staff in the restaurant are first class. This is a great hotel, a nice place to stay without doubt. A few comments in respect of our room, ( 129 ) which might help other guests: The shower is big and efficient, two anti slip mats would make it safer when leaving after showering as opposed to just the one supplied as the floor is very slippery when wet. The position of the wall mounted tv dangerously restricts access to and from the bathroom, especially in the dark. ( photo attached ). The position of the fridge dangerously restricts access to one side of the bed, especially in the dark. ( photo attached ). As previous, minor issues really, but worth looking into in respect of guests who may not be as fit or mobile as us. The room was far too hot without air conditioning despite the use of a fan, windows and patio access door being open, we could not cool it down at any time during our stay making sleeping difficult. Overall we had a great stay, thanks to all concerned.

Arrived long before our check in time, staff were most courteous, as our room wasn’t quite ready we we allowed to leave our luggage with them whilst we went exploring. Returned at check in time, staff very helpful and kindly showed us to our room as we got bit lost - big hotel !! Our room was very spacious with a double and single bed, nicely decorated, bathroom was huge, and had usual including a bidet. Room was serviced every day with anything used replaced. Room had a safe which was free to use. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to chose from and a help yourself hot buffet, again staff very attentive and got anything from kitchen not readily available, Hotel had lovely sun terrace with plenty of sun loungers, nicely stocked bar which also served bar food. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be back, Give it an 11/10 😁😁

What a wonderful hotel, the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble if you asked for anything. Rooms were clean and spacious, food was excellent and they cater for special dietary requirements. 10 mins from the seafront and main bus station, there is a bus stop outside the hotel.

My stepdaughter and I took my mother-in-law to Jersey for her 80th birthday. She had lived there in the early 70’s and wanted to return – and what a trip it was! It was my first time visiting Jersey and the island itself was amazing, but what really made our stay special were the staff at this hotel. Every single member of the team we encountered was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We only had breakfast at the property, but it was excellent – fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Having worked in hospitality for over 30 years, I can honestly say the team here are among the very best I’ve ever come across. They are a true credit to the hotel. Thank you for giving us such a lovely weekend. My mother-in-law had an absolute ball, and we will definitely be back!

Was in St Helier for work and the Royal Hotel was one recommended to me. However, the stay is quite basic for how much the room rate is. There’s no real facilities, no gym, no pool etc. Their breakfast is actually really expensive and basic for what you get and not many veggie options nor vegan.

From the moment you arrive you are made so welcome,we were in room 313 which was very quiet and on a high floor as requested.The room was very clean and the furniture looked new.we stayed half board , loads of choices, which consisted of three courses, all Amazing I might add staff can't do enough for you , asking about allergies, making sure everything thing is good.The menu was different every day.Reception was amazing, great for any information, very happy to help .we booked through Jet 2 very professional, they kept in touch through our the holiday via text . Will return to this hotel soon with Jet 2.Amazing holiday from start to finish
