This hotel exceeded our expectations! It is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and the staff was amazing! We loved the fire pit and bath tub on the balcony, and the bubbling brook was an added bonus! The room service was fantastic, and the spa was incredible! Highly recommend Dan and Tracy for massages! And Ricky at the bar made us special drinks and was a joy to talk with and had great recommendations. Everyone on the staff was truly fantastic though! We also appreciated the dedicated smoking areas that were nice and pretty and not by a dumpster in the corner somewhere as most hotels do. The overall property was beautiful and we can't wait to come back!

What a beautiful property this is. We stayed for 3 nights in a gorgeous vineyard view suite with a massive wrap around balcony. There was plenty of water and coffee and housekeeping brought daily treats. The wetroom and bath were both huge, with plenty of toiletries and we had 2 loos, one of which was one of those fancy ones - you’ll see.. The pool area was really nice, with super comfy sun loungers, sofa areas with a fire pit and great pool service. The gym was decent, we mainly used the treadmills.. but there were Pelethon bikes and a rowing machine amongst the equipment. The dining side of things was the only let down.. we only ate breakfast there which was ok, but a limited choice unless there’s something we weren’t informed about and we could’ve ordered something different ..… the service in there however was great ! We didn’t like the look of the dinner menu so didn’t bother.. The valet parking was efficient - our car was swept away when we pulled up and you just give them a few minutes notice and the car is brought over for you when you request it. It’s a 10 minute walk into the charming town - St Helena. We had a relaxing time there at the start of our California road trip so the bar is set high for rest…

I was excited to come here but also hesitant after a not so great stay at Andaz Maui a couple weeks ago. When we arrived to our first winery someone called me from the hotel asking if I’d like an upgrade because they had one ready for me… uhh yeah! Got to the hotel around 2-3pm and everyone was so nice. Our valet guy took our bags up and even showed us how to use the fireplace and all the important buttons. He really paid attention to detail because we said we were going to dinner and asked what time. We told him and when we got outside a few hours later, we didn’t even have to wait for our car! Someone the first night came for turndown service and brought brownies. So cool! She was also really nice and told us her favorite things about the property. I really liked this place and definitely want to stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel with stunning views. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and housekeeping was thorough and attentive. St. Helena is a charming town with fantastic dining and shopping. I will definitely be recommending Alila to friends planning a visit to the area.
