Stayed in a vineyard view room on the last day of our 10 day vacation in the area and our only regret was we only booked for one night. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived at Alila Napa Valley, we knew we were in for something special. The property is tucked into the vineyards in the most serene, picturesque setting—it feels like you’ve escaped into your own private wine country retreat. The service was absolutely flawless. Every team member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. It wasn’t just hospitality; it was genuine warmth and thoughtfulness. Our room was stunning—spacious, modern, and perfectly designed with those understated touches of luxury that make you stop and notice. Waking up to vineyard views with a cup of coffee on the balcony felt like a dream. The amenities were top-notch, from the plush bedding to the spa-like bathroom details. The food and wine experience was equally unforgettable. Each meal felt curated and elevated, while still celebrating the local flavors of Napa. Whether it was a perfectly crafted cocktail at sunset or an incredible breakfast to start the day, every bite was memorable. What really sets Alila Napa Valley apart is the atmosphere: refined yet relaxed, luxurious yet approachable. It’s the perfect blend of indulgence and authenticity. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. If you’re heading to Napa Valley, this is the place to stay.

We stayed midweek in August and it was calm and amazingly relaxing. The service was incredible and we had the best meal of our trip at Violetto.

Our 2nd time staying at property. Amazing property and room with view of vineyards. Everything was great in regards to our stay outside AC unit not cooling room properly to desired temperature set on thermostat. Staff did offer a fan though. It was also a rather hot day when we stayed there at 95 degrees outside which made it uncomfortable.

I initially gave this resort 4 stars, because we had an issue that has been resolved. It was a minor charge for what was supposed to have been a gift, but it was a big deal to me and my husband. I'm pleased to say the concierge we dealt with, Janice, went to a fair amount of trouble to rectify the issue and gave us a truly genuine and sincere apology. My husband travels a LOT for work and is a Lifetime Globalist. As such we feel very fortunate when we're able to book a stay on points and as such, we go to some effort to spend money on property. I have terrible skin allergies and was in contact with Allison, the spa manager, prior to our visit so that I could book a massage and be sure that the technician would use unscented oil. I cannot begin to express how understanding and helpful Allison was, what amazing care she, Joan, and my technician Gwen, (Dan for my hubby who said his massage was amazing) took in making us feel comfortable and cared for during our visit. I mentioned in passing how much we LOVED the Alila robes and Allison was kind enough to look up the cost (very reasonable) and order robes to have waiting for me and my husband upon our check-out of the spa. Well imagine my delight when I went to sign out for our services, mentioned that I didn't see the robes on our bill, and was informed by Joan that the two robes had been gifted to us!!! I mean what an incredibly thoughtful and really DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE. The cost of the robes was inconsequential. We would have gladly paid for them. It was the pure delight in such a kind gesture that made me feel SO SPECIAL. When a resort goes to that extent to make you feel special, the least you can do is return the favor. Instead of availing ourselves of the many restaurants in St Helena, we decided to eat AND drink on property. Every meal was delicious and the wine list is exemplary. That is saying something since I'm a bit of a wine snob and my husband and I belong to several formal wine organizations. At the end of our stay we realized it was far more relaxing to enjoy the on-property amenities and food and beverage, and we'd do it again. If you're a wine aficionado you will find something that suits my palate. I was blown away by their selection of Italian wine since so many restaurants in the area are California centric, understandably of course. Lastly I'll address issues mentioned in other reviews: yes you can hear the people walking above you. I think that's the price you pay for clean floors instead of gross wall to wall carpeting. I only ever heard people during the day. Yes you can hear the "dinging" of rooms opening and it does sound like someone is coming into your room (probably an easy volume fix if management is reading). Rest assured if you have the DND light activated, no one is coming into your room. The soaking tub in our room was a personal favorite, and I availed myself of the soak and bath salts every day. Personally my husband and I would have preferred the pool mus

Great property with a wonderful location. Well laid out room that was in perfect condition. Staff were attentive, helpful and around when I needed them. Restaurant was a bit to fancy for my taste, but Brix down the road was great. (I wish they had a hot tub...)

I wish I could give the resort staff 5 stars and management 3 stars. First let me address the headline. I mean what an incredibly thoughtful and really DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE. The cost of the robes was inconsequential. We would have gladly paid for them. It was the pure delight in such a kind gesture that made me feel SO SPECIAL. Now you can see the meaning of my headline. I sent an email to the concierge I had been dealing with regarding our room (the usual types of requests; foam instead of feather pillows, blanket, allergies strike again and a fan in the room for white noise, all of which Janice took care of for us), to say thank you for the robes and spa experience. I also mentioned the spa staff for the special treat of the robes, housekeeping for making sure we kept our foam pillows and the tireless work of keeping rooms clean, the wait staff that was so incredibly pleasant (Cadence at the pool, Nicholas, Gabriel, and Joshua at breakfast, Oscar our bartender extraordinaire at dinner, to name a few). You see after the gift of the robes, we were even more inclined to spend our time and money at the resort. Instead of availing ourselves of the many restaurants available in St. Helena and further, we decided to eat dinner at the bar our remaining two evenings. We purchased mightily from the wine list (which is quite excellent by the way, especially if you're an Italian wine aficionado), shared tastes of the wine with Oscar and another guest at the bar so they could see why we were raving about the selections, and in general tried to tip well and make the staff know how much we appreciate the challenges of working in service, especially when you get some Globalists who we know can act in a way that's very entitled. The hotel was kind enough to give us a late check-out and as we were literally walking to our car, my husband received our bill. Nothing was particularly wrong, we got our free breakfasts, saw our dining charges, and our spa ch

This was my second stay at Alila Napa Valley and was blown away, as usual! A short disclaimer: I used WOH (World of Hyatt) points and a GOH (Guest of Honor) pass from a friend, so I enjoyed WOH Globalist status and benefits during this stay. The hotel, the grounds, and the area are just amazing. It's actually on/adjacent to the Beringer estate and my deluxe king had the vineyard view. While the guest rooms and hotel itself are exceptional, it's really the staff that make this an amazing and relaxing experience. I've been fortunate to stay at some truly great luxury hotels and resorts the last few years, but the staff here are simply the best of of the best of my experiences. They all help to create a vibe that is truly an oasis within an oasis!
