The location was great, as it was within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station.
The room was up a steep staircase and had a poor view. It was small, but clean.
The heating didn't work very well.
I was very happy to see a coffee machine in the lobby.
Considering the price, location, etc., this is one of the top three hotels I stayed at in Europe for a week.

Frankly, I want to give this hotel full marks for its clean and nice environment, free coffee and water at the pantry island next to the reception, and friendly, cheerful and helpful receptionists, just my local friend there said the location does not seem very safe at night. Indeed it’s quite quiet at night. So have a weary eye when you walk back to the hotel.
If you are considering a hotel near the Midi Station, I will still recommend this hotel. It is just 5 mins away! No need to worry about the noise from the trains, you hear nothing inside the hotel and room!

The hotel is very close to the train station. The area around it looks a bit messy, but it's okay if you're careful. It's more than a kilometer walk to Brussels Square. I didn't feel unsafe walking on the main road. In short, it's very convenient to stay here.
