Mon séjour à l’hôtel Cheval Noir à Saint-Étienne une expérience catastrophique. L’établissement est dans un état de vétusté avancé :peinture défraîchie, mobilier usé voir cassé,, et surtout un niveau d’hygiène extrêmement limite. Pas de rideaux aux fenêtres : on est totalement visible depuis l’extérieur, aucune intimité. Il faisait 35°C dehors, aucune climatisation mise en marche en amont – la chambre était une véritable étuve à l’arrivée. Résultat : impossible de dormir dans ces conditions. Le lit est une blague : pas de vrai drap-housse, juste deux draps mal repliés autour de la couette. En pleine chaleur, j’ai dû retirer la couette, ce qui a révélé à quel point la literie était mal entretenue. Côté propreté, c’est une petite catastrophe. Le sol n’est clairement pas nettoyé : après 15 minutes pieds nus, mes pieds étaient noirs. Les toilettes sont dans un état lamentable, avec des chromes sales et entartrés. Je n’ai pas dormi de la nuit. Entre la chaleur étouffante, l’inconfort du lit et l’ambiance générale de négligence, c’était invivable. Comment cet hôtel peut-il encore afficher trois étoiles! C’est une honte. Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel.
