This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The most wonderful and attentive staff, a real luxury family home feel. Hugo is an amazing concierge and found us all the trip we wanted to do throughout of 5 night stay. Amazingly delicious food and wine selection to die for. Very comfortable bed and the pool was such a great addition. Will definitely be coming to stay again.

From arrival to check out a superb experience with two let downs. But let’s start with all the positives. It’s a stunning setting. Michel Reybier has done it again! The hotel renovation is marvelous. The rooms have charm and everything you need. The fitness and pool area are great for a good exercise including swimming laps. The park of the hotel is vast and pretty. Welcome service, check out and breakfast service were top notch. The let downs were that you could hear every step from the room above… we were on the first of two floors. Hence, I strongly recommend to reserve a second floor room. We even overheard the TV from upstairs. Luckily people switch off before midnight, so not a big deal. The bigger deal for the dinner. The service wasn’t at par with all other services… beats us why… and worse both main dishes were overcooked… a real shame… mustn’t happen and we are sure Michel wouldn’t be amazed by this. All in all, highly recommended, but go elsewhere for dinner until they upgrade the service and cooking.

A wonderful welcome and relaxation at the highest level of comfort and hospitality. After a long drive, we were waited for until 1am, after which we tasted cheeses and wine in the chic living room. The house is located in the heart of the vineyards, a stone's throw from the Cos d'Estournel. The interior is refined but discreet. You are welcomed as if in a welcoming home. Coming to Maison d'Estournel is to indulge in a holiday of "the good life", to relax in the living room-library with a glass of Cos d'Estournel, to discover the seasonal cuisine and to stroll leisurely along the endless roads along the vineyards. The house is located in the heart of the park, where you can admire the giant sequoia and centuries-old cedars. Most of the rooms offer a peaceful view of the park. Maison d'Estournel is a majestic home for a romantic and refined holiday in the vineyards.

Un petit château du Médoc à une encablure du Château Cos d'Estournel. Un grand et beau jardin où l'on peut prendre l'apéritif tranquillement en attendant de passer à table en extérieur... confortable et bucolique. Carte courte et très gourmande. Plats exécutés avec précision, recettes gourmandes et dressages savants. Un tataki de thon rouge frais et délicieux ... et un formidable risotto aux asperges et espuma de parmesan... Belle carte des vins avec Cos d'Estournel à des prix très convenables. Un beau et bon moment de gourmandise et d'amitié.

A stay at La Maison d'Estournel is starting to become an annual tradition. We discovered the hotel last year and instantly fell in love. The property is stunning and superbly maintained. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. The food is delicious and the wine list is very long. Each member of staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. All in all, I would describe a stay at La Maison d'Estournel as very special and we look forward to returning next year.
