Originally booked one night via *********** then opted to stay a second night we were so comfortable. The owner is French and speaks excellent English and was so helpful in assisting our plans for the rest of our driving holiday. For example, we left the car at the train starion 10 mins from the property and for 10 euro pp got the train to the centre of Paris. Then used the hop on, hop off city buses which were ideal for the tour and to get our bearings. The property provided a spacious room and luxury pristine modern bathroom. The bed was beautiful, so comfortable and soft snowy white bedlinen. There is a beautiful area to sit out in Spring & Summer months and we felt very welcomed, excellent hospitality. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful place, about 50 km from the center of Paris. Very suitable to stay for one or more days and relax. The expertly renovated water mill and the estate surrounding it have a rich history and you can feel that in everything. The rooms are very neat and comfortably furnished and overlook a beautiful garden where children can play. All this is managed by an extremely friendly and helpful owner and his family. He is happy to tell you the stories about the mill and its previous residents. In the nearby town of Dourdan there are a number of restaurants, of which the Indian (next to the cinema) is highly recommended.

Le lieu est sublime. Les chambres et salles de bain impeccables, ont été rénovées avec goût. L‘hôte est aux petits soins ! Un endroit parfait pour une pause plus ou moins longue. Et en prime, on peut s’endormir avec le léger bruit du ruisseau comme berceuse.

Quand Cécile Aubry terminait un livre, la dernière ligne c’était : Le Moulin Bleu avec la date du point final. Alors je me suis fait un plaisir, aller dormir au Moulin Bleu. Manuel et Hélène en ont fait un joli endroit, au calme - difficile de prendre la voiture ensuite pour aller diner - on n'a plus envie de sortir. Respectueux de la mémoire de celle qui y vécut pendant plusieurs décennies, si ils ont rénovés certaines parties des batiments, ils ont gardé l’âme des lieux et seront aux petits soins pour vous. Le petit-déjeuner copieux vous attend dans la grande salle du rez-de-chaussée. Une parenthèse loin de la ville et de ses bruits pour retrouver la campagne, les arbres et vos hôtes qui vous raconteront l’histoire de cet endroit si vous le souhaitez. Je veux mettre en avant leur extrême gentillesse et la passion qui les anime pour ce lieu.
