This is our second stay and my mind is blown. We had screwed up our reservation and the front desk staff was absolutely so unbelievably kind, friendly, and understanding – super shout out to Bren- they fixed everything for us and got us in. This is the kind of hotel kids dream of. Yes, everyone likes the magic of the level of a place like Disney World, but this is the kind of thing where you just don’t expect it and then suddenly you realize it is one of the greatest hotels for children in the history of hotels. From the multiple pools, arcades and sport courts, to the revamped lobby and restaurant, what’s most notable to me is that this hotel has dramatically improved itself in the past six years. It had been pretty worn down, but I think the refresh is outstanding. Truly, there is nothing else like it in the state of Minnesota. I’m also really impressed with as many kids are walking around the hotel, everybody seems to be behaving pretty well and security is on a pretty tight loop, just keeping an eye on things but not being mean or overbearing. Overall, just a great vibe.

Great for our family of 5 to stay together. Plenty of room for all of us. We liked having the ability to get ready in multiple locations so the bathroom didn’t get crowded.

We had a two bed suite with a pullout couch. Loud party happening outside our room which is out of hotel control. We pulled thr couch out to an unmade stained mattress. Just wasn’t happy that bed was not made and then waited an additional hour and half to get bed sheets and extra blanket.

I have made 4 phone calls as I was billed more than I should have been. Each call resulting in them saying someone will call me back. NOBODY calls back!!! I even spoke to Brad who said he was the manager on site...he said he would look into it and call me back...guess how that went! I booked through ******* and asked to be on a floor near my friends they changed my room type and rate without notifying me! Worst customer service ever!

We came to celebrate a birthday so we had 21 people. I felt there was need for mor tables for larger groups. All were full so we ended up hanging out in one of our rooms. But the place is great for the kids.

Upon arrival, room appeared nice. No tv remote. Had to go get one from front desk. No cups for bathroom. Room not what we requested. Too many little kids in the whirlpool so didn’t get to use it. You have to ask at front desk for a non slip mat for the shower. Nothing in room as far as channel guide, restaurants in area. Advertised as room service. That was not true. The location is not attractive at all. We won’t be staying there again.

We've been celebrating our dad's birthday at this hotel for 40 years. We were there again in February and spend $3,000 that weekend on rooms. It's not the same place it used to be. Specifically, the management is terrible. There were a group of teenagers that came in off the street to play basketball. They were not staying there but seemed to be connected to the managers (either General Manager Brad or Manager Gene). We watched them take items off of our table and when we complained to the Managers, both Brad and Gene, they said it was ok. Other observations. All the pools were cold including the hot tubs. Another guest tried to lure my 84 year old father into his room. Luckily he didn't go in the room. The hotel managers were aware of it but didn't remove the guest. He later attempted it again with another guest that same evening. After at least the 2nd attempt, they made him leave. One person in our group had a bottle of alcohol stolen while trying to pack up. Again, young teenagers that are allowed to hang out at the hotel. Holiday inn ownership you have been much better in the past. Your managers are terrible. You may already know this as the hotel was at about 50% capacity.
