Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Oersonal ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Die Zimmer sind gross und, Gott sei Dank, ohne Teppichboden. Die Lage ist sensationell: in Gehdistanz zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten!!! Im Zimmer gibt es eine eigene Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine.

The room I was given was old, small, worn, and smelled old. There was a lot of road noise. The room did seem to be clean. Based on recent reviews I expected a nicely refurbished hotel. Quite disappointed with the reality. A lesson to stick with trusted brands of hotels when booking in advance (the payment was nonrefundable by the time I saw the hotel in person).

Location is great, Quiet, clean and nice owners! B a h and great restaurants the island. Great bar/ restaurant across the street called Black Fly. Wood fired pizza is the best! Short walk to St Augustine over the Lions Bridge! Actually wasn’t there in Nov 24.. it was Nov 23 and 22 ! Will be booking again for this year.

I booked this hotel two months in advance through Travelocity, but then the next day, called Historic Inn to cancel. The owner said he could not cancel my reservation, only Travelocity could. But he took down my name and date I had reserved, clearly with no intention to actually doing anything about it. I called Travelocity customer service. Travelocity had no record of my reservation. Sure enough, I was charged for the room I never used. I would find out later, there was a typo in my email address so I received no confirmation. I called Historic Inn owner and told him this. He said he could not do anything for me. Travelocity also called him. He refused to offer any refund.

NICE PLACE - DON’T GO BY THE OLD REVIEWS! Hotel was apparently sold a year or 3 ago and completely remodeled. Disregard any negative reviews, the hotel has done a complete 180 since they were written. Nice clean rooms, friendly owners. I have nothing but positive things to say. The room was spotless. Bed was comfy. Rates were reasonable. We will definitely come back and stay again next time we are in St.Augustine

Quarto bem aconchegante, decoração com eletrodomésticos retrô, muito bonito. O quarto com piso vinílico, duas camas de casal, escrivaninha, mesa com duas cadeiras, frigobar, microondas, tv enorme, cafeteira com capsulas cortesia. Banheiro estava limpo. Tudo bem novo. Ótima estadia.

O hotel está totalmente renovado, os quartos estão ótimos, cama muito boa, tv de 55 ou 60 polegadas, frigobar grande e muito bom, microondas, ar condicionado, piso vinílico, sem carpete, limpeza impecável, maquina de café com 2 capsulas cortesia, estacionamento gratuito. O banheiro tb muito bom, sem vazamentos e mesmo sendo cortina e não box, não deixa o chão molhado. O melhor "motel" americano que me hospedei. Do hotel ao centro histórico eh um caminhada de 1,5km ou 10 min, atravessando a Bridge of Lions, porem próximo ao hotel tem restaurantes e bares. Gostei de tudo, custo x beneficio nota 10. Apenas atenção antes de reservar pois o check in finaliza as 22:00 (10PM) tenha certeza que vai chegar ao hotel antes disso. Não oferece cafe da manha, nem pago a parte. O TripAdvisor precisa atualizar as avaliações com o hotel reformado, não usando como base o "antigo" hotel. Na verdade isso eh um problema que o site vem enfrentando ja tem anos e perdendo credibilidade, dando relevância a comentários com mais de 5-6 anos, muita coisa ruim foi reformada e muitos hoteis bons ficaram velhos, precisam fazer um pente fino na plataforma. Google tá bem mais confiável.

Rooms have been recently remodeled so ignore old reviews. Pictures on their website are accurate. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Front office staff are friendly and helpful. Location was great for walking to downtown or the nearby bars/restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend this for a trip to St Augustine.

Localização até que é boa, mas o cheiro do quarto é horrível, TV mais velha que minha avó, toalhas rasgadas roupa de cama com cheiro estranho, vimos baratas. Não recomendo. Peça para verificar os quartos antes de pagar.
