Great customer service. Rick was friendly, funny and helpful.
Had a good sleep on the beds.
Evening social hour, snacks,& refreshments were nice.
Breakfast quiche was delicious! Very nice breakfast served,& view of water, awesome!
I have two suggestions that would make my rating a 5.
The floors in our room were dirty enough to make my sisters new, clean, white socks black.
The tv remote fell behind the dresser/ refrigerator console. When I slid it away from the wall to retrieve the remote, it was pretty dirty back there.
Shower may have been clean, but maybe due to the brown grout, appeared dirty. We were questioning the cleanliness, after seeing my sister’s socks,& chose not to use the shower .😬
As a suggestion, putting some type of reflective tape, paint or lighting at the different step elevations . ( my 83 yr old brother in law missed the step, leading to our parked car, and fell, getting pretty banged up).
Overall, despite the negative observations, we enjoyed our stay, the location,& would stay here again.

We actually love it here but can’t always afford it. The hotel is so quaint and convenient to downtown. The breakfast is delicious & the happy hour is peaceful & delicious as well. The hotel does need some love—the outside needs some paint, some weeding done, pool deck needs cleaned & a drainage system devised. The pool chairs are not usable. The shower is beautiful in the rooms but it lets water out no matter what you do. Rooms are clean & comfortable. However the a/c unit in the first room was simply not cooling probably due to the room having 3 windows and it was extremely hot out. We did ask for a different room & they accommodated us. But honestly we do love it here overall.

Lovely hotel with such great service. Views were incredible of downtown St. Augustine and the sunset. Rooms were a bit musty but super clean and bathrooms fully renovated. Easy walk across the bridge to downtown so no need to scavenge for parking. Best of all they offer complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails with a spectacular view of the river.

Staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable-great beds, comfy pillows, plush towels. The breakfast and social hour are expertly prepared in-house and are super tasty. Nice to have a lodging choice that is not corporate. Special thanks to Tara, Sara and Ronnie. Can’t wait to come back!

L’emplacement est parfait, juste à côté du pont et en face du centre ville. Ce qui permet de laisser la voiture et de faire toutes les visites à pied. La chambre est belle, très propre, terrasse juste devant la rivière et idéalement placée pour profiter du coucher de soleil. Le personnel est très gentil et attentif à leurs clients. Que dire de plus …. Tout était parfait

Very clean daily made service. It was very quiet. It was nice having a patio facing the intercoastal watching the boats come in and out at night nice short walk over the bridge in the Saint Augustine. All the action is felt very family owned will return and will recommend a friends and family.
