My sister and I recently stayed in the Cottage at St. Francis Inn Bed & Breakfast as part of a low country sister's trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic Inn that had so many thoughtful amenities to enjoy including an afternoon cocktail hour, dessert in the evening after returning from dinner, a lovely courtyard to relax, a beverage station that is available all day, cream sherry for your room, and a delicious breakfast with two hot entrees as well as fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt parfait, juices, and breakfast breads for toasting. The cottage was comfortably furnished with many amenities. It was a quiet location in the historic district, and within walking distance of the many historical sites. I look forward to a return visit to this lovely Inn where the staff makes you feel like you are at home.

Best for comfort, price, and amenities. I loved the Wilson suite my daughter and I shared. 1 giant bed and 1 pullout couch were comfy and cozy. It was a perfect dbl birthday weekend. The St Francis is historical and beautiful. The amenities : free breakfast buffet, free lattes, free social hour of wne and beer, and ending with a wonderful free dessert. You just cant beat this place. If that wasnt enough, free cofee, soda, hot tea, and bottled water. This is heaven. Highly recommend it.

We loved everything about our stay at St Francis Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Patrick's welcome and answering all our questions. The breakfast, afternoon cookies, happy hour, desserts, and evening sherry were delicious. The room was quaint and comfortable - awesome pillow and sheets. We stayed in Lily's room and believe we encountered Lily. The courtyard was beautiful, and we enjoyed afternoons at the pool and swinging on the second floor porch. The inn is convenient to shopping and restaurants and quiet. Parking was included and plentiful. We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends. I wouldn't take young kids here, and it may not be for you if you have mobility issues. Perfect for a couple's or friends' getaway!

My now husband and I decided we would have our wedding at the St. Francis Inn Bed and Breakfast. Best choice we could have ever made!! Mary was wonderful and handled every single detail. All we had to do was show up! The staff was wonderful as well. We went here back in 2015 and loved the place. When we decided we were going to be married, we couldn't think of a better place to have it done. It was reasonably priced as well. We will continue to go back!!

We loved our stay here! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, and the property has many nice touches such as a lovely garden, well-planned breakfast, happy hour, dessert hour with s’mores, beach towels…. The location was perfect - close enough to the center of historic St. A but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Our room was very comfortable. We did not use the pool nor the bicycles but both were available and well kept. Highly recommend!

The St Francis Inn is steeped in history. The inn is old and amazing. The staff is wonderful. I am vegan and they made sure I had a delicious breakfast every morning and I sweet dessert during social hour. I will being going back again!

The photos online do not do this establishment justice. It is lovely, charming, and very well appointed. We stayed in Saffron's Suite. All of the amenities were in perfect working order and the bed was wonderfully comfortable! The only note I would have is that the hot water is VERY hot, which was a fabulous surprise for an historic building. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the inn is a short walk to all the bustle and fun of the historic district, and there is ample guest parking, which is like finding a unicorn in this area! The staff really cares about your experience, and we were very impressed with their customer service. They go above and beyond to make your stay everything you want.

Such a lovely stay! I found this property online while doing my research for our trip and the reviews were fantastic all right on point. We arrived right at check-in time 3:00pm, the staff was very welcoming and showed us around the grounds. Parking is easy and you really don't need to move your car because everything is walking distance. We only used our car when we went to the beach. We stayed across the street from the main house, in Miss Emily's Room, with a wonderful balcony. We had breakfast every morning with different menus which were all delicious, they also have a social hour with some drinks and snacks in the early evening and desserts between 7-9pm, can't beat that! The room was a great size for us, with a comfortable bathroom, as well as a comfy bed. The owner and his family were very friendly, great staff! We will definitely return and stay here at St Francis Inn.

An absolute gem of an inn. Our accomodation was booked through a road trip company and they couldn't have picked anywhere better. The welcome is warm, the inn itself is full of so much character and the breakfast was so tasty. We were given a tour by Patrick when we arrived and shown the lovely outside areas, pool and bikes that are free to borrow. There are so many extras included with the stay....coffees, sodas, cookies, social hour with wine and snacks and an evening dessert. Wow!! The location is perfect. It's a lovely walk into the pedestrianized area with so many shops and restaurants. Once you're done with the hustle and bustle you can stroll back to the quiet little street that the inn is on. We also made use of the free passes to St Augustine lighthouse. Highly recommend using the bikes to cycle there, it's a nice easy ride and a great way to see some more of the area. From the moment you walk through the door there is a sense of 'being looked after'. A lovely experience and we are so pleased we got to stay here. Ever hopeful that we will one day be able to return.
