Cedar House Inn

Wonderful experience in every way. Highly recommended. We stayed in the Floridian Honeymoon suite and the room was fabulous; the bedroom, the sitting room, bathroom with huge Jacuzzi tub and lovely outdoor porch. Check in was enjoyable, as we were guided to our room by Kerry. He told us all about the area, the B&B's amenities and brought us a a couple of the Inn's incredible cookies (addictive!). Thanks Kerry. Room had ability to make coffee and a small frig; nice adders. Not all Inns are created equal and just to let you know the AC, water pressure and all work perfectly. Breakfast: DO NOT MISS THE BREAKFAST! While it changes each day, we had a soufflé in a biscuit with hollandaise sauce. Vicki declared it best breakfast item EVER. And then a second course! Wonderful small fruits in a lovely cream in a delicate pastry shell. Incredible as well. Thanks to our chef! Other couples were nice to meet and one can lose themselves reading in the Inn's living room or chess room. Our only regret? Wish we had more time there. As locals, Vicki and I have vowed to return until we've "collected" all the rooms. As noted: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks to everyone there! PS - Thankfully this lovely B&B is not on St. George street, which is far too noisy and impersonal. Perfectly located on Cedar Street near the Lightner Museum (The Alcazar being a great spot for lunch)

More than a hotel, César House Inn is a sanctuary for the soul. From the moment my husband and I arrived, I felt like a queen. It’s a place I would return to alone for self-connection or with my partner to celebrate life. And the breakfast… a true work of art! Not only for its exquisite flavor, but for the experience and the elegance with which it is served. This is not just a place to stay… it’s a place to be.

The charming Victorian house and decor made for a delightful stay. Upon arrival, the friendly staff greeted us and took our bags. They provided us with a map and highlighted some interesting places to visit. We stayed in the spacious Floridian room, which featured a private deck and sitting area. The breakfast was simply amazing! Each day consisted of two courses and coffee or tea. In the evenings, we could enjoy wine and baked goods. We can’t wait to return!
