Clean and comfy for the price, decent and clean breakfast. You will be charged a $20 parking fee which is steep due to its location to downtown. Since you really need to drive to get downtown in summer and have to pay that much downtown I believe they could do better. Put the price into the stay so people are not put off by fees that usually are in the fine print. Not a deal breaker but maybe a different hotel closer to downtown may be a better deal if you knew about the fees before hand. We were there when the elevator was down and pool closed but they were fixed rather quickly. There is another elevator close so not a big deal. I was a Hilton Diamond member for a few years and never was I denied a bottle of water after walking all day. This trip I was, again not the worst thing but staff should be on top of thing like that.

Firstly, we went to front desk seeking towels for pool and were given by Katherine at front desk. We got to the pool area, and went to far table with tiki that wreaked of sewer smell, so we sat at opposite table of pool area. I went into pool which was very very warm, when I saw a very small sign attached to pool rail that read “POOL CLOSED. This pool is not in compliance…may endanger the safety and welfare of persons using” Florida Health. St Johns County. No warning from front desk. No yellow roped area at pool. I was so scared, I got out of pool, returned to our room, showered, and checked out of hotel early. The humid warm temperature at night the first night should have been the first red flag. One of the elevators broken. Only 1 elevator working. Total miss. Would never return here.

My experience at this property was appalling and unacceptable. Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door and being assured by the front desk that no one would enter, hotel staff came into my room without my permission. This is a serious breach of trust and a violation of my privacy. Even worse, $400 in cash was stolen from my room. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk. Rather than speaking to me directly, the General Manager refused to get involved. I was told by the front desk staff that he was off for three days and “didn’t want to be bothered.” They relayed his only message: “Tell him to do what he has to.” That level of disregard and lack of professionalism is unacceptable, especially from someone responsible for guest safety and property integrity. To make matters worse, I had personal and confidential documents in the room—raising concerns not only about theft but also about a potential violation of HIPAA protections. This hotel failed on every level: they violated my privacy, failed to protect my belongings, and offered zero accountability. The General Manager’s unwillingness to even speak to me personally shows a complete failure of leadership. I strongly advise others to avoid this property. If this happened to me, it could happen to anyone.

Used their banquet venue for my daughter’s graduation party and Emily made the process easy and smooth. Our family and friends were so impressed. Emily and her team set up the table and chairs and all we had to do was to bring our decoration. Thank you Emily!

Loved this hotel. Close to everything and very friendly staff. Rooms were super clean and the breakfast was fantastic! Even within walking distance of a cute ice cream shop and some restaurants. A great antique store called Antiques & Things and other boutiques are a quick 5 minute drive so there’s lots to do before you even get to St George Street
