This hotel has done renovations and has kept some of its charm , especially the hardwood floors. It was very clean .The room was large and had a small kitchenette and seating area. The bed was comfy . The only drawback was the heatpump for air conditioning was very noisy in our room , turned it off . Very friendly staff .

We enjoyed our 3-night stay. They got most everything right! We loved the dining table and kitchen area in our suite. The staff were very very friendly and even made gluten-free toast for my husband every morning. Clean and quiet.

Easy parking, comfortable bed. Coffee maker (can use for tea also), strong WiFi, cable TV. Good shower ( over bath). Continental breakfast is a do-it-yourself arrangement, with muffins, cereal, fruit, toaster for bread and bagels. Stayed 2 nights to explore the Viking Trails/north peninsula. Nearby restaurants include Tim’s and a Jungle Jim’s. Lighthouse is short drive away.

Initially booked the honey moon suite for valentines. The jaccuzi only produced hot water no cold had to carry buckets of cold water to the jaccuzi and was kept up all hours of the night due to the jacuzzi not working properly and wouldnt turn off.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were pleasantly greeted. Check in was very quick and easy. Info for the area was provided. Our room had a kitchen outfitted with all the necessary equipment and even condiments. The tv was large and there were 2 leather lazyboy like chairs to relax in. Bed was very comfortable. We purchased several local items in their little store. Our 2 day stay was most enjoyable and a lot was due to the front desk staff. We highly recommend!
