We stayed at La Serpauderie as we were attending a wedding at the Chateau de Theon. Not used to staying at « gîtes / maisons d’hôtes » we did not know what to expect. Our experience was FANTASTIC. The staff / the owners are wonderful people, accommodating easily any situation / wish. The location itself is a jewel in the country side. You will find a big yard, ideal for children for then to run around, chickens and rooster enjoying the space (and the food you will/can give them), all this in a very quiet environment where the time stops so that you relax. The accommodation itself is great, spacious, clean, and offering all amenities (WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, induction stove …), there is even a jacuzzi! Breakfasts are prepared every morning by the owner, with fruits from the garden, homemade jams (YUM!) and fresh bread from the local French bakery. Depending on the days you may even get homemade pancakes! In summary, a beautiful place, owned by beautiful people, which transform a regular trip into a great experience that leaves lasting memories.

We ended up staying here when our car broke down on the french motorway on our way down to Sarlat. The insurance company booked us in here for 2 nights and it was a lovely experience. There was 5 of us in total and they fitted us in with such short notice. The owner couldn't do enough for us either, even took us shopping to the nearest supermarket in his car because ours was at the mechanics. Such a peaceful location. Really enjoyed our short stay.

L’hôte rentre dans votre chambre sans consentement et prend votre chien pour le sortir car soi-disant il est trop bruyant, et ose vous le facturer. De plus il y a des cafards et d’autres insectes dans la chambre. Sur leur site il est écrit wifi haut débit fibre max, impossible de charger une photo en ligne le wifi ne dépasse même pas 5Mbps. La chambre est normalement aux normes handicapés, aucune chaise dans la douche, la personne n’a même pas pu prendre de douche. La seule chaise était cassé, et c’était nécessaire de déplacer certains meubles de la chambre pour pouvoir passer en fauteuil roulant. De plus le propriétaire force à passer en direct, j’avais réservé sur Booking, j’ai été appelé comme quoi je n’avais pas le choix de passer en direct sinon la chambre ne serait pas valide.

Annulation au dernier moment car ils avaient un groupe, scandaleux. Attention donc si vous réservez via une box, ils préfèrent les réservations directement et j'ai essayé de négocier mais rien à faire. A la limite de l'escroquerie, et aucun scrupule au téléphone.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans la chambre d'hôtes du prunier. Cette chambre est tres spacieuse et confortable (chauffage au sol dans la salle de bain, parquet, hauteur de plafond, lits confortables, propreté) Nous avons pu profiter du jaccuzzi privatisé pendant 1h. Tout est très propre (chambre, espace jacuzzi, salle de petit déjeuner). Plusieurs produits faits maison sont proposés au petit déjeuner. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Philippe, le propriétaire qui est disponible, souriant, discret. Pour résumer, notre séjour à la serpauderie était très plaisant.

Nous avons profitez d'un coffret Smartbox . Très beau gîte , très fonctionnel avec tous ce qu'il faut. Literie excellente. Belle accueil par le propriétaire.Espace jaccuzi parfait. Petit déjeuner extra. Rien a redire a par foncez !je recommande.
