I had a party at Torrington Hall and stayed as well with friends and family. A great venue for a party , the owners were very flexible to allow us to put gazebos up, and answer any questions we had. The rooms were absolutely lovely , I can’t believe how big they are! The price point is great value per room for an opulent set up. Perfect parking as well at the venue , with walking distance to the town within a couple of minutes. Checkin being contactless was great it meant flexibility which I loved. Nice to support a family owned business rather than a multinational corporation. Ideal for birthday parties , business events, weddings and a luxury hotel stay. Would recommend without hesitation.

I stayed at Torrington Hall for a wedding reception. The aparthotel offers spacious, modern rooms that are both clean and comfortable. Torrington Hall is a short walk from the city centre, with easy access to restaurants and bars. I highly recommend it for visitors to St Albans or anyone planning a wedding reception or similar event.

We arrived to check in and found that there are no staff on site. We checked in via the electronic system there however there was no information to find the key to our room! Thankfully there were other visitors there who we managed to ask. We entered the room and found the blinds were broke on the windows, broken plaster from the walls on the floor, TV wasnt working, Wifi kept dropping in and out, broken windowsill l, security locks on windows broken and to top it off a dead spider as well!! We couldnt contact anyone to make a complaint there so there was no way of asking for a change of room.

Large comfortable room, very walkable for St Alban's.
Unfortunately the kettle in the room was unusable due to it leaking badly & the microwave did not to work.

Tired but convenient for city centre
Very convenient location. Very stark and impersonal. Some noise from the road and communal kitchen. Very tired decor. Window cracked, windows very grubby and mouldy, shower needs replacing.
