Upon arrival, I had requested an early check-in, and although I had to wait nearly two hours for the room to be allotted, I appreciate the assistance of Ms. Kanika, who was helpful throughout the process.
The initially provided Luxury Room was disappointing—it had dull lighting, a musty smell, and felt quite claustrophobic. Additionally, the corridor leading to the room had a strong, unpleasant odor, possibly due to its proximity to the banquet or meeting halls on the same floor.
Later that evening, I requested a downgrade to an Executive Room, and again, Ms. Kanika was helpful in facilitating the room change. The new room was a marked improvement—clean, fresh, and well-maintained. I’d also like to commend the housekeeping team for doing an excellent job keeping the room and bathrooms spotless.
The following morning at breakfast, the restaurant was overcrowded and disorganized. There was no proper queuing system, and the lady managing the entrance appeared puzzled and inexperienced. However, once inside, the food was f9 with limited spread , and the serving staff were attentive and worked efficiently despite the rush.
While I appreciated the staff’s efforts and the cleanliness of the Executive Room, I believe the hotel is in need of renovation, particularly to improve lighting, room ventilation, and overall ambiance. Most importantly, the persistent foul odor in the corridors needs immediate attention, as it significantly impacts the guest experience.
