Place was very clean both room and the facilities. At check in no one was at the front desk. Took about 10 minute and someone came out from a room behind the counter.same thing in the morning but only waited about 3 minutes.

Good: Friendly welcoming staff. Very clean room. Cozy. Good hot shower. Location within numerous good restaurants. Breakfast + : nice waffles, yogurt, bananas, muffins, orange juice. Not good: swimming pool was not operational, very sad! (and it was not mentioned on booking platforms). Breakfast - : cold eggs, terrible sausage, no vegetables, other kinds of juice than orange. If the swimming pool worked and breakfast didn't have those negative things I mentioned, the place would've been perfect.

Everything was fantastic, except that their website stated they had a hot tub, which had been removed. The remodel was made clean. However, the new pool policy is somewhat inconvenient. You had to go to the front desk to get unlocked it was cold too.

Good Hampton, nice room where everything worked properly. That’s why this place gets 3 stars. Two complaints: 1. My room was not refreshed after my first night. This is absolutely unacceptable. The pandemic is over and you must return service to normal levels. This is not open to debate. 2. The complimentary breakfast at this and all other Hamptons has gone severely downhill in terms of quality and selection, leaving you vulnerable to more competitive hotel brands. No more fresh cut fruit, overcooked eggs, no English muffins, etc. do better.

Overnight stay, first room had low water pressure and small food items left in the refrigerator, switch to another room was done without issue and second room was clean and good water pressure, the staff was friendly, lots of food choices in area, passing through I would stay again for a day or two.

Somehow we got booked in the handicap room. That might have been my fault but not sure. They tried to move us but couldn’t. The staff were attentive, friendly and the breakfast was quite tasty. I would give it 5 stars except for our room just wasn’t that great. First off the right side of the mattress was just no good. I’m not a large person but when I laid in it it made a mess sized crater and I was much lower than my wife next to me. When I tried to roll toward her it was quite a bit uphill…. To get out of bed not so much but still a little bit uphill. The room in the middle of the night was incredibly lit up. If you are someone that needs a very dark room do not book this room. (Room 126). I woke up at 2:30am and it was so bright in the room I thought the sun was up. There is a large light outside to room on the ground that just comes thru the window relentlessly. The shade system knocks down some but not enough at all. Needs thicker and darker curtains for sure. Great place but room 126 is a little substandard.

This was a GREAT hotel. We were in room 405 which was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best I have had in a hotel. Location was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. If I were in this area again I would definately stay here again.

I was traveling with my employee who had an issue with her room (blood, not hers, on her sheets) when she called the front desk they told here that it would be taken care of. An hour later no one had contacted her so she called the front desk again, they told her that they were waiting for her to bring down the sheets!! By this time, housekeeping had already gone for the day, the front desk refused to switch her room, the staff member was rude, and finally, they gave her clean sheets and SHE needed to change them herself!! This is unacceptable!! I have stayed at hundreds of Hampton Inns over my many years of travel and have never encountered something like this, EVER!! I was so embarrassed to have my newly traveling employee experience such a lack of customer service from a Hilton property. No one ever said that they were sorry that she has such an experience, on the contrary, they made her feel bad for saying anything. This review will be going on Trip Advisor, Google and Yelp.

I have so many complaints about this hotel. There was no one at the desk to greet us. It took 2-3 minutes before someone realized we were there. It took another 2-3 minutes before an actual front desk person checked us in after a 5-6 hour trip. it seemed as if the staff was more concerned with staff members they hadn't seen for awhile or a staff member who possibly had a new hairdo. Completely unprofessional. Holiday weekend or not, as it was the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend that we stayed. Once we got to the room, it was so cold (56-58 degrees). We had to turn the AC off. The room never really warmed up. But, since we were only there 1 night we just dealt with it. Additionally, we found a cell phone cord from a previous guest. This makes me wonder if our room was actually cleaned and not made to look like it was. When we were in the elevator with our luggage, we were in the elevator with a housekeeping staff member who was on the phone on a personal call. It is very unprofessional for a staff member to be on the phone while working especially in front of a guest. when I went to take a shower, the water was less than luke warm. The water was still luke warm the next morning. The morning of checkout after a 1 night stay we discovered that the ice machine on the 2nd floor did not work. The breakfast was subpar. Not a large selection as I've seen at other Hampton properties. Took attendant quite a while to replenish the waffle mix. Even when using the non stick spray, the mix still stuck to the waffle makers. Additionally, there was no OJ available. This is uncalled for even if we were not Silver members, which we are. We had considered staying here again on our trip home to Indianapolis from Mackinaw Island, but after this, we will be staying elsewhere. Not a good start to our vacation There's no point in me even posting this because I know nothing will be done. There hasn't been a manager that has responded to a post in several years.
