this pub/hotel is situated in a beautiful spot near Delph; there are easy to reach walks amidst the beautiful surrounding hills. Oldham is close and a bus stop is just few minutes away from the hotel. There is a light breakfast at no extra cost included in the room price.

Really excellent accommodation. The room and bathroom is spotless and the service friendly and helpful. we ate in the restaurant after a long journey and the food was both delicious and in huge portions. We would definitely recommend to others and hope to be back soon - the local countryside is gorgeous too.

Stopped off for a meal on our way home, now wondering why we haven't eaten here before when it's on our doorstep. We were spoilt for choice with the extensive menu. The service was good and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely, good portions and value. We'll definitely be back!

A great place to meet and catch up with friends for a relaxed lunch. The menu was pretty standard but delicious, well cooked and presented - that was just what we were after. What made our visit great was the ambience, the friendly staff and the unhurried approach. Our food was served promptly after we ordered and the staff were attentive without being intrusive which enabled us to really relax and enjoy the occasion. Would definitely choose this place again.

We were staying at Grains bar as we were attending a wedding. Sophie was at reception when we arrived and she was really friendly, happy and helpful. She really was a star and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the first floor and was clean and comfortable. The hotel has lots of corridors and stairs but we managed to navigate our way around as they lock some of the doors at night. Breakfast was good and you help yourself to toast,drinks and cereals. If you have ordered a cooked breakfast this is brought over to your table. All in all a good stay.

Attended a wedding it’s a fantastic little hidden gem. Modern yet traditional Wedding venue was lovely Staff very friendly & always asking that everything’s ok Room modern & comfy Bar prices reasonable compared to other venues that over price Light breakfast included in room price cereal,tea,coffee etc or you can upgrade to full English for £8.50 Amazing chips Wanted to stay an extra day but unfortunately fully booked. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely full English breakfast here. We booked but not too busy. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The price was reasonable and the hotel is lovely. We have watched this hotel grow over the years and what they have done with it is gorgeous

We stayed here for our cousins wedding and we stayed in the amazing Shepherd Huts. The venue is in amazing setting overlooking Saddleworth moors. The hut was incredible. Everything you would need , all high quality and the views are priceless. The staff who work here are equally amazing. We had a great time.
