Jay was the BEST front desk associate!!!! Him and the rest of the team were outstanding! I got in wayyy early and he was able to get me in early! And duper friendly and worked with me, jay is a king!

Excellent front desk service. Great location. Walkable to many good restaurants and entertainment. Parking next door is very convenient. Rooms are roomy and clean.

I travel all over Northern California for business. This is, hands down, my favorite place to stay!! The rooms are good size, clean, and very comfortable! The staff is absolutely amazing!! The manager, Sosa and reception, Nailah are so warm and friendly and recognize me every visit. The restaurant and bar are really fun with great food, atmosphere, and service. It’s so convenient to have it all right there! I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Sac.

Service and accommodations were fantastic. Thank you to Matthew the manager for such a warm welcome. We also love the bar and restaurant, never had a bad meal at Cafe Bernardo. The only thing I’d change is to add table service instead of ordering at the counter.

I had a very lovely experience at the Fort Sutter Hotel! The staff was able to accommodate us and we appreciated their very pleasant and helpful attitude. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. This hotel is ideal if you want to be close to the excitement of the city. There are plenty of hotels and bars as well as tourist attractions within a short commute. When returning to my hotel room, I appreciated the chill atmosphere, I was able to get a full night sleep without any noise disturbance. Fort Sutter Hotel is definitely a premier spot to stay at when visiting our state’s capitol!

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Sacramento due to ongoing medical needs, and this one has truly stood out as the best so far. It was by far the cleanest—immaculately maintained from top to bottom. Everything in the room worked perfectly, which isn’t always the case elsewhere. The staff were genuinely warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get much-needed rest. I also appreciated the convenience of the on-site dining option—definitely a bonus. I’ll absolutely be returning in the future!
