The cottage was clean, tidy and well equipped. They provided bath robe and slippers and the hot tub was very nice. They provide most kitchen equipment, although the reusable coffee filter didn't quit fit the machine .....it made a bit of mess. There was a hole in the cabin gazebo that allowed access to a squirrel in the hot tub area . We woke up the next day to his excrement all over the gazebo, lounge chairs and floor, which was not to our liking. The property itself would have been spectacular had there not been large holes and piles of earth everywhere. The holes filled with stagnant water provided a perfect breeding ground for the ample supply of mosquitos. The property supplies bug spay if you care to use it, we did not. The Bath tub was elevated for whatever reason, providing a small step would have been perfect, for us shorter folks who are 5'2". The water to the cabin was provided by a pumping system which surged every 30 seconds, not a problem for washing dishes. Taking a shower was another matter. The water in the shower was extremely difficult to regulate it was either too hot or too cold and the pressure kept surging and dropping. We were a little disappointed for the money we paid, I expected a little more for my dollar. I didn't expect large excavator size piles of earth and holes that a child could get seriously hurt in. I would not recommend this property to couples with children or people who would prefer to shower. I have stayed in many cabins in my years and this one was mediocre at best. Considering all the rules the owners expect you to abide by they failed to hold up their side of the contract. We Stayed in the Aspen cabin.
