The room was clean and tidy, very close to the city center, a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and a Thai restaurant across the street. To go to the supermarket, turn left and go straight, through the pedestrian area to the Karstadt Shopping Center. There is an Aldi supermarket on the ground floor. The only bad thing is that there is loud music after 6 o'clock in the evening until after 9 o'clock, and there are many people coming back and making noise in the corridor at 1 o'clock in the morning.

The apartment itself is a decent property close to the centre of Saarbruecken, with access to nice restaurants and shopping. However, the owner/management didn't notify me that there was a problem with the water supply and a planned cut off in the morning hours (08:00-12:00). Later we found that there was a notice in the lift in German language, which didn't help us non-German tourists a great deal. They could have been honest and upfront so that we could have planned the day better. Also, the listing says Parking available, but you have to pay parking charge per night separately. Listing should clarify that Parking is subject to separate payment.
