Vergane glorie, service ver onder niveau. Kamer slecht, douchen in oud bad, scheuren in muur, plankje zit los. Ontbijt service slecht, staat veel personeel, hebben geen idee. Dingen worden niet of traag aangevuld bij ontbijt buffet.
Massage voor 130 euro was de slechtste ever.
Eten was wel heel goed.

Beautiful views from all over the property. Accommodations were very clean. Tremendous artwork in every part of the hotel. Will be returning in May for daughter’s wedding. If the food is as good as the tasting we will be overjoyed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A lovely hotel in a beautif setting. We had a very good classic room with a balcony and a view over both sides of the promentory. The staff were lovely and we liked the traditional design. So much care must have been taken when it was built to incorporate Catalan craftsmanship with a dash of modernity. The bathroom was excellent with a spacious shower. There were several restaurants to choose from. It was a very relaxing week and we hope to return. One of our best holidays.

Thank you for a wonderful stay; ALL the staff were charming, helpful and discreet, having known the hotel since 1950 just for drinks and lunch, it was a joy to stay and not be disappointed, to stay in a hotel that still keeps the feeling of how the old style top hotels are with the great twist of bring it up 2024 just made it a joy.

Es un hotel emblemático, pero por el precio y categoría no dan la talla, personal d hostelería fatal sin experiencia, en la habitación cuando entras huele a no ventilada, el baño las paredes sucia con chorretones, y no había gel en la ducha frasco vacío, en fin una decepción

Wir waren gestern auf einer Familienhochzeit im Hostal de la Gavina und ich muss leider sagen, dass für ein 5 Sterne Hotel der Service unterirdisch war. Zum dinner wurde nicht nachgeschenkt und das Personal war unmotiviert, schlecht gelaunt und genervt! Dazu kam, dass sie nur spanisch sprachen und weder englisch noch sonst eine andere Sprache sprachen oder nicht wollten. Essen und setting waren gut, daher 3 Sterne! Für ein Hotel dieser Preiskategorie fühlte man sich durch das Personal null willkommen. Tische auf der Terrasse wurden mit lautem Getöse abgebaut, Stühle über den Boden gezerrt und die Bar anschließend zum tanzen völlig unterbesetzt, so das man auf ein Getränk lange Schlange stehen musste. Auch hier völlig überfordert. Das Management sollte sich hier wirklich besser kümmern!

Un hotel magnífico en un lugar maravilloso . Relajación , buen servicio y excelente gastronomía. Limpieza excelente y servicio muy bueno . Hotel de toda la vida para ir siempre que se pueda . Deberían , eso si , en el restaurante romántico Candelight vigilar de que no te estropeara una velada un niño ruidoso y maleducado. Nosotros venimos todos los años y continuaremos viniendo
