Cute, simple stay. Perfect for the price. No thrills or spills, but a good shower, comfy bed, and friendly staff. Don’t forget to leave your key at reception!

河岸邊，自駕的話交通很方便，停車免費，這在英國真的好難得啊。
服務人員態度挺好，客房就是很傳統很質樸的鄉村酒店佈置，用鑰匙開門，很有古舊感，但是衞生搞得蠻乾淨的。早餐是點餐的形式，約好時間去，按份上，我們點的就是傳統英式早餐，培根烤麪包香腸土豆烤蘑菇和西紅柿。住的人還挺多，膚色看，我們夫妻是唯一一對非歐洲人吧。

The room is very old and close to the road. The soundproofing of the window is very poor and leaky. The toilet is too simple and the sound of the exhaust fan is better than that of a motorcycle. The hot water is as small as tears. I had to give up taking a shower to avoid catching a cold. However, to be honest, the hotel is quite close to the town. The British aunts are very polite. The recommended restaurant (The Standard) is not bad. Although the breakfast is not a buffet, it is still good according to the menu and you can eat enough.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our time at the River Haven. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming which made for a very relaxing time. Our room was on the ground floor and was large and comfortable with plenty of storage. As it was river facing there was little in the way of traffic noise. Breakfast was served in a large dining area with plenty of seating available. The food was excellent with a good selection of self service choices plus hot food to order. The hotel also has ample free parking and is only a couple of minutes stroll in to Rye town. I agree with some reviewers that the hotel may need a little TLC in places. However everywhere was kept very clean and tidy and the hotel is very well run. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend the River Haven for anyone visiting Rye and the surrounding area.

Very nice hotel, extremely well situated within very easy walk of Rye centre. On the River with boats moored up, large garden to eat or have a drink in. Like many hotels, possibly in need of a bit of TLC which did not detract from our enjoyment of staying there.

The hotel was brilliantly situated on the river front. Great outside space to sit and have coffee and drinks. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We had a great time.

The hotel was close to the old part of Rye. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was a decent size, parking was easy. I found the bed on the small side and the mattress too soft. The shower was satisfactory but did lack power. As a 3 star hotel these were minor observations. The hotel served a good breakfast and pleasant staff in the restaurant

Reading other reviews someone summarised it perfectly. The service at this 3 star hotel was magnificent and the stand out feature. We were here for a friends 65th birthday and had hired out the main room. It is a great location of holding a party for 25 to 35 people. The food we had in the evening was hit and miss for a 3 course meal. Some elements were fantastic and some were just ok. The stand out good bits were the garlic mushrooms for starters (although butter on the toast would have been a good addition). The meat for the Sunday roast was cooked well and the cauliflower cheese delightful. The chocolate brownie for desert was also superb. The rooms were spacious. The mattresses was to soft for my taste and the shower lacked any pressure but all of this was made up for by seeing a smile and hardwork from all of the crew.
