A very pretty and quiet location Room was spacious and airy Staff were superb polite and helpful without exception, food was of a high quality Pool was a good size and clean Only a few negatives, no fridge in room I am diabetic and would like to put insulin in a fridge Toilet too low Cupboard door is the wrong side for easy access All in all a very good location and actually a 4.5/5 Well done

Great customer service especially Daniel, Valentina and Ivan! Excellent food quality. Pool and jacuzzi fab! My massage with Polly was so relaxing. Nice spa rooms. Very comfortable bed mattress. Room adequate ,a little tired , and had issues with the shower. Great for dogs! Would definitely go back!

Had a great stay. The hotel was easy to find, ample parking. The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly. Our room had lovely views. We had an enjoyable time using the super swimming pool and whirlpool. Great location as Rye is only ten minutes up the road. Highly recommended.

Needs an update. Whilst restaurant and bar area ok, our bedroom wasn't very nice. Smelt musty and damp. Mould in cupboard. Bathroom needs update...slow shower,water not very hot. Mould in tiles. Horrible shower curtain. Bed comfortable, room overall clean but carpet needs replacing. No water in room. Wouldn't stay again. Food was good, nice evening meal. Breakfast was OK.

We booked this a couple of weeks ago as we wanted to visit Rye for a couple of our party’s birthdays but this hotel was the only one that had any vacancies. There was probably a good reason they had vacancies. The rooms were really tired, the shower in room 4 did not work, no fridge in room, no fan in hot weather and window wouldn’t open either. £147 for the room, £10 for a gin and tonic, £6 for a beer, £15 for a sandwich, £17 for mediocre breakfast and god awful coffee. Swimming pool was nice but not nice enough to ever go back!!!!

Just had a fantastic Sunday roast here. The staff were very attentive, couldn’t do enough for you. We had a trio of meats and every meat melted in your mouth, lovely hot fresh vegetables came in separate bowls which I call a proper roast, instead of these fancy roasts where you hardly get any veg and it’s all piled on your plate. Will definitely be back.

2 couples for Sunday Lunch. The Sunday Roast was excellent as too the service and staff who were very attentive. Lovely restaurant, very nicely decorated with a pleasant atmosphere. We had a medley of meats; Beef, Pork and Saddle of Lamb, all wonderfully cooked, the Lamb especially, it was melt in the mouth and sourced locally. The desert we choose was the Sticky Toffe Pudding and it was to die for. We'd throughly enjoyed our time here today and will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Felt a little duped staying at the Flackley Ash Country House Hotel. Looks like a nice old country house hotel, The picture of the front of the hotel is deceiving. We were shown to our room which was in another building in a new block built at the back of the hotel, So could have been in a Holiday Inn but paid premium for Country House Hotel! Room was ok but not worth the £180:00 rate we paid. Internet connection was very poor in the room.

Warm staff, plenty of parking, comfortable and clean venue with good-sized rooms , tasty food at very competitive prices, wonderful dining and lounge areas and wonderful pool. The bedroom/bathroom needed an update and pool showers are greatly in need of renovation.
