We enjoyed our one-night stay in this very pleasant hotel. We had a room with a terrace and it was so nice to sit out and admire the countryside. We appreciated the pool where we had an enjoyable swim and the staff throughout were friendly and efficient. We booked on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and the food was good.

Really very comfortable boutique hotel, good location for exploring Rye and surrounding area. Nicely decorated throughout and excellent food, although a more comprehensive buffet breakfast with cereal and fruit would be welcome. Lovely mature grounds and plenty of parking. Certainly would visit again, overall good value and friendly team.

Great hotel with super staff and a great ambience. We stayed for one night and wished we had booked for longer. The bar and restaurant area are very modern and bright with a lovely garden. The rooms are spacious and clean t Yhe beds are very comfortable.

Flackley Ash has a charm that's hard to quantify. From the lovely welcoming warmth at reception, to the large comfortable bed- our stay was everything we'd hoped for and more. Staff are helpful and attentive, food is homemade and tasty, and facilities just lovely. We left feeling rested and relaxed - thanks for making us feel so welcome.

A very disappointing short break. The hotel looks impressive from the outside with lovely grounds but our restaurant experience was very poor, particularly breakfast which is hugely overpriced (eg c£8 for toast!!!). Our room, with a comfortable bed & spacious was very hot because one window did not open and the fan was ineffective.

Just had a super weekend at the Flackley House Country House Hotel. As the name suggests it is not a modern trendy establishment but is a extremely comfortable country house hotel. It is a part Georgian and part 20th century building (housing the spar). The staff are lovely (nothing is too much trouble), a perfect location for travelling the south coast being just outside Rye, limited menu but the food and service were very good. Rooms quiet, clean and comfortable boasting the usual amenities. All in all thoroughly well run and delightful establishment that one does not need to take out a mortgage to stay at!

Just returned from our stay here and we loved it We chose the dinner b&b option, the dinner & breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive, the room was super comfy too, if you struggle with stairs I would suggest a ground floor room We certainly wouldn’t hesitate in returning again in the future

Very comfortable hotel. We had a superior double which was spacious and had a nice bathroom. I asked for a room on the ground floor which they made available We booked the restaurant for dinner and it was very good so we booked again for the following night. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were very friendly.

After a day walking the dogs on the beach at Camber we were looking for somewhere to eat. Initially we thought Flackley looked 'too posh' but after checking that they accepted dogs we gave it a go. Staff were so welcoming to us and the dogs, the food was excellent -hot, tasty and served very quickly-good variety, large portions and a wonderful dish of lovely vegetables. Despite its 'grandeur' the food was no more expensive than any where else. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back when we next come to Camber. Thank you.
