Great place to stay
The cabin was perfect. Comfy, clean and perfect for us and the dogs. Yard is fenced. Enjoy time at fire pit while they explored the yard. Fully stocked with linens, toiletries. Kitchen had all you needed, just bring food. Spices and all waiting for you. Great front and back porch views. Can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend JR’s Cabin.

The cabin was perfect. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in the early morning and evening. Definitely will stay there again.

Great location and well appointed cabin
Riverbend is a private community with access to the Broad River and 2 lakes for swimming. We stayed mainly at the Old Swimming Hole right after the entrance because we had 2 dogs with us. JRs cabin was perfect for my family of 4 (plus pups). The yard is fenced. I was really impressed with the extras throughout the cabin. All of the cookware is higher quality and there was bug spray/sunscreen/first aid kit available if needed. Less than 20 min to Lake Lure and really close to the Ingles for groceries. Definitely recommend!

Cozy and Relaxing
Noreen has a beautiful cabin. It was clean and just a wonderful place to relax. The price is well worth the accommodation. Love the beds, and firepit.

Simply the best!
This was our second stay at this cabin, and will it be our last! This cabin is absolutely perfect for us! I love i5nis perfect for us, and exactly as described. Noreen is an amazing host, you could not find better!
We have small dogs and delighted to be able to bring them with us. The yard are is extremely se use for dogs, including small dogs.
Noreen is an amazing host, and provides all the comforts of home at this cabin. I have rented several cabins in the past, and have never had a better host than Noreen! As mentioned earlier, this was not our first stay. There is a definite comfort in coming back and finding the cabin just as we left it. We are already looking forward to our next stay. We love the area, and happy to have “our” place to stay while there!

Perfect Getaway
JR’s cabin is in a great location and has everything you need to enjoy the mountains and lake! It’s super clean and cozy, and a great space for pets. Would love to come back to make more family memories!

Mountain oasis
We loved JR’s cabin located in a mountain oasis in the Lake Lure area. Very convenient location to area attractions. Gated community with a small lake and river…gravel road to the cabin was fine with our SUV. The cabin was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. So nice having coffee on the porch in such peaceful surroundings! The owner was very responsive and accommodating.
