The hotel is located right on the river. You can hear and see it from your room. Very serene and quiet. The room was cozy and comfortable. We were right down the street from the village and Chimney Rock Park. The hotel had parking on the premises and really loved their contactless checkin via text message. We did not have to worry about time we arrived- very helpful. Only had 2 issues with this establishment. The wood floors in our room were not very clean, cause our socks got dirty after walking around. The other issue was we had NO HOT WATER that night or the next morning and had to take COLD Showers! The management told us they were having it repaired but would not be fixed til after we left. I don’t fault them for the repair issue, but they did not even offer any kind of discount for the room, just apologized.
