MOTEL 6 Branson West - Silver Dollar City

Pro's: It's close to Silver Dollar City, it has a roof and a working AC unit though it has seen better days. Cons: Everything else, Owner/Management is bad people. Working from tollerable to shady, Tollerable - we needed a second towel for my wife and they all but refused to give it to her. Still tollerable - My son locked his key in the room and again all but refused to give him a second key card. Way shady - while we were IN the pool the wind jumped up and while scrambling to get out of the pool area a table and chair flew into my granddaughter knocking her down causing bruises and scrapes. While the hotel was refusing to give my son a second key card he told him their lucky we dont sue and he was told that the pool had been locked and that we jumped the gate. We had been in the pool, with other vacationers, for over an hour and the other guests were in there before us. Last shady act, when the wind kicked up, a branch from a tree fell on the tail end of a Ford Bronco that was parked under it, the owner went and pulled the branch off the vehicle and pushed it down a slope not leaving a note for the owner to check for damage. I found the owner and we inspected the vehicle and only found 1 scratch and she had the same opinion that the owner/mgmt was a shady character. I recommened staying away from this hotel. A single night with no expectations other than a bed it's all yours. No customer service, no pleasant interactions with staff. Don't expect a nice meet and greet.

This is a great hotel if you’re going for a fishing tournament and don’t require a lot. It was clean and partially updated but extremely basic. There were two towels, no hand towel, no bathmat, and no tissues. The sheets were very threadbare, pillows worn (take your own) and the decking outside the room kind of gave an unsafe feeling. For what I paid, it was to be expected not to be perfect. The young man working the front desk was extremely friendly and did a great job. I would stay here again if I needed an emergency option, but I would plan to take my own supplies like a camping trip.

Very nice and reasonable prices. The location is only like a mike from Silver Dollar City. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is nice. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. This is the second time we have stayed here. Great value for the price.

If you are looking for a budget conscious place to stay, that is CLEAN and fairly well kept, look no further. I have stayed twice, with no significant complaints. In fact, the one and only complaint was that the toilet seat on the second stay was missing a screw. Not a big deal for me. I would absolutely recommend this motel to friends/family, and will come back next time I'm in town.

Owner and staff are great. Rooms were clean and very nice bed. Will stay again . Housekeeping always had great linens and extra coffee. The property was very well kept and the rooms have sinks with disposals. One of the nicest owners and cleanest motels that I have stayed in.

I came late at night needing a place to sleep after a long drive and found this place for a good price. Being some places won’t accept people under 21, I talked to Bob at the front who helped me out big time. Thank you Motel 6 and to the employees being ready and patient.
