Silver Cloud Hotel Tacoma at Point Ruston Waterfront

This is an amazing hotel! We stayed here for several nights in their family water view suite. The view was incredible (would have been great if Mt. Rainier was visible but that’s what you get with Washington weather!) and the room was immaculate. We probably will never sleep as well at any other hotel as we did here. The bed was SO comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was good and it was also nice to have other delicious options walking distance to the hotel. We found the staff to be welcoming and friendly as well. We look forward to staying here again during our next visit to Washington.

My family love the area and we decided to finally stay at Silver Cloud for our 8yr wedding anniversary. My wife and I have always wanted to stay and decided to give it a try. We booked the Waterfront Deluxe King room and our two daughters used the couch bed. The Good 1. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the lobby was beautiful and inviting. 2. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My wife wanted popcorn and we asked for a microwave and house keeping brought it within minutes! 3. The room was AMAZING! The views of the water and Mt. Rainier were gorgeous and it was worth the price for us. 4. I paid for the romance package and the sparkling wine was really good and the chocolate covered strawberries were delicious... Even though my wife and I only got one since our girls ate the rest! 4. The bed was crazy soft and as a fan of soft mattresses, it was like sleeping on a cloud... Pun intended. 5. The pool was really warm, not sure if it's heated or it was due to how hot it's been but it was really nice and there was plenty of seating. The Bad 1. This isn't really a bad thing but more of a complaint really. We had house keeping knock on our door at 8:11am the morning of checkout. As this was the morning after our anniversary... We weren't expecting a knock this early. My wife had to get out of the bathtub to answer the door as I was tending to our girls who had been woken up. I understand they want to clean some rooms early prior to the 12pm checkout but it was unexpected. We were up late from the night before so wasn't fun for some of us to be woken up. Again that's nothing major, some people I'm sure would be fine with it. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and we'd absolutely book again and plan to.

Get a sea view room your whole wall is a view of the sea and islands. Comfortable and clean good service and good breakfast too A superb alternative to staying in Seattle We will come again A lovely spot to relax and tour the local area Nice restaurants is you drive five minutes along the seafront

This hotel was amazing. The bed was comfortable, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. No complaints- friendly service, clean room... everything I was looking for. I got up early since I'm from the east coast and walked the path along the water in the morning, watching the seals and sea lions catch breakfast. It was absolutely perfect.

The hotel was beautiful along the waterfront of Tacoma. The staff is amazing! The breakfast credit was really nice to have and we enjoyed breakfast overlooking the bay every morning. The hotel was clean. The surrounding area was fun to walk and try other restaurants and shops

Best Ocean View I have ever seen from a hotel room! The beds and pillows are comfortable. The location is superb as there are shops and restaurants close by, and the walking trails are wonderful! I love to exercise, and it was great because the fitness room has state of the art equipment and it's spacious. The pool is a nice temperature. The staff is cheerful and knowledgeable! Great customer service.
