Hampton Inn Russellville

Getting our little man all settled into Arkansas Tech University and stayed one late evening. The room was so wet and cold. I am figuring that maybe the carpet was washed that day put the humidity just permeated through me and the sheets. Not enough pillows, like 2 total. I ended up just turning the AC completely off. I suggest don’t rent a room w a soaked carpet.

We stayed here in room 226 on 7/18/24. This is our go to hotel when visiting family in Russellville and we have stayed here 15 + times over the past 20 years. We thought the hotel had gone downhill since our last stay in 2021. The pluses: the room was good sized, clean and the bed was comfortable the bathroom has plenty of counter space the check in staff was very helpful(relocated us to Rm 226 as the first assigned room number 230 had an awful urine like smell) the room had a fridge, with a small freezer the breakfast was very good, better than the typical Hampton the internet worked well The minuses Room 226 had a very strong flowery smell from it's last cleaning, took a couple of hours running the AC on high to get rid of it one of the "clean" towels had been washed but still had stains in it, it should have been thrown away the TV guide is useless, the channels don't match the TV and the guide had no info on what was on the channel the TV remotes volume button didn't work well (sometimes it did, most times it did not adjust the volume) Overall a disappointing stay based on our previous stays. Probably not our go to any more.

Great location, great town, with a fantastic restaurant right across the street. This was less than half the cost of the Hampton I stayed at in Jackson, TN just a few nights before. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast was! They had individual size veggie omelets, sausage, bacon, and all the other usual foods like oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Nice big muffins too! I will stay here again. I really like this town.

Great experience. Comfortable bed and comfortable pillows. Large clean room and the bathroom and shower were amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was an added bonus. The free breakfast was delicious and had anything you would want and coffee was delicious. It was a very nice area and was also and easy on and off the highway. Would stay here again.

Staff are rude with no regard for the signs hung on door. Staff are very loud and disruptive. Staff hangout side of door talking loudly even with sign on door that clearly says sleeping/relax. I am staying a week and have to suffer. The chatting is so loud it is covering my TV and air-conditioning unit. The front desk is taking calls in the hallway and I can hear the phone call as he had it on speaker standing outside my door. The staff are completely improfessional. Do not recommend staying at all.

Two story Hampton Inn. Walking distance to restaurants. Clean , quiet and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Good hot water and water pressure in shower. Breakfast was standard with the usual Hampton Inn offerings. Close proximity to Interstate 40.

What has happened to the Hampton Inn brand hotel chain? It used to be a reliable mid market hotel. On my last several stays I’ve found them to be run down and even dirty on some occasions. This location was very clean and appeared to be new; but I thought I had walked into a Microtel. The room was small, there were postage sized night “tables” with tiny lamps, no clock, no crisp linens, no fluffy cotton towels; and my line in the sand, no duvet. If the nasty blanket that doesn’t get changed between guests is not inside a duvet I won’t be a repeat customer. To top it off no half and half for the coffee.

The check in procedure was easy. The parking was good. 120 volt outlets were adequate. Unlike many hotels the lighting in the room was good. There were 4 towel sets. Often times I have to ask for more towels but not here. There is food nearby. Ate breakfast at Burger King across the parking lot. The included hotel breakfast was nothing to write home about.

Absolutely 💯 clean, staff is amazing, breakfast is good, no bug's to worry about, beds are great, would definitely stay again when om that location, this was a family stay.. hot water, no stains of.the sheets or bedding
