Wir fahren seit 14 Jahren zur Familie Kerschbaumer. Die Familie meines Bruders (2 Kinder) fahren ebenfalls immer mit. Mein Sohn bzw. mein Neffe und meine Nichte haben in Russbach in der Skischule (kann ich nur empfehlen) dort Skifahren gelernt. So jetzt können sie alle 3 sehr gut Skifahren und wir fahren noch immer hin. Die Kinder (meiner ist bereits 18) und wir natürlich auch, wollen eigentlich nirgendwo anders hinfahren. Ist im Winter wie auch im Sommer eine Reise wert. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Es passt einfach alles! Vom Essen bis zur Sauberkeit alles perfekt. Mein Sohn sagt immer, es fühlt sich an als würde er nach Hause kommen.

The hotel is an easy walk to the ski lifts,, although you can get the ski bus directly outside if wished. You may use the free ski lockers at he Horn Bahn to save taking ski equipment back to the hotel. The family are very accommodating and they are always on hand to offer advice and to help with booking of restaurants, taxis and generally to give a helping hand. The rooms vary in size, but all are more than adequate and they are very clean with large bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of fresh meats, cheeses and lots more. You will not go hungry! The evening meal can be taken in their restaurant, The Weinstube. It is a traditional restaurant with great food and wines. Try the house red, you won't be disappointed! The facilities include nice relaxing areas and also a good sauna/wellness room.

Wie jeden Winteranfang wächst jährlich die Vorfreude wieder ein paar entspannte Schitage in Russbach im Hotel der Familie Kerschbaumer zu verbringen! Durch die über Jahre entstandene Freundschaft mit der inzwischen 3ten (und vielleicht auch noch 4ten ;) Generation kommt man an und fühlt sich wie zuhause! Auto für ein paar Tage geparkt und Urlaub kann beginnen...Zeit sich ein paar Tage verwöhnen lassen! Geräumiges modernes Zimmer mit gemütlichem Bett beziehen...morgens ohne Stress mal ein ausgiebiges Frühstück in Form eines Buffets mit allem was das Herz begehrt...dann direkt vor dem Hotel in den gratis Schibus einsteigen und ab auf die Piste! Nach der letzten Abfahrt steht direkt bei der Talstation ein SchiDepot (Schlüssel bekommt man am 1 Tag in Rezeption) zur Verfügung und man braucht die Schi erst am letzten Tag wieder mitzunehmen! Nach einem herrlichen Schitag freut man sich dann schon auf das Abendessen, daß bei Halbpension in Form eines 3gängigen Wahlmenüs frisch gekocht und liebevoll angerichtet zu Tisch kommt! Ein Lob an die Küche...an Chef Roman und sein Team! Auch die umfangreiche Weinkarte ist nicht zu verachten und man ist mit der Weinempfehlung des Juniorchefs Florian gut beraten! Alles in allem fühlt man sich von der gesamten Familie und ihrem Personal bestens betreut und umsorgt!

Ankommen und wohlfühlen. Wir sind den 9. Winter hier und es war wie immer sehr sehr schön. Familie Kerschbaumer ist eine super Gastgeberfamilie. Wir sind zu Gast bei Freunden und fühlen uns hier sehr sehr wohl. Der Urlaub beginnt ab dem Ortseingangsschild. Tolle Zimmer mit modernem Komfort. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit Riesenauswahl, wunderbare Speisen in der Weinstube mit einer exzellenten Auswahl an Wein. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr!!!

Mittlerweile werden wir nach den mehrmaligen Aufenthalten wie Freunde empfangen. Wir fühlen uns bei Roman seiner Familie und dem gesamten Team pudelwohl. Jeder Wunsch wird wenn möglich erfüllt. Reisetipps von Roman sind spitze. Er empfiehlt für jede Wetterbedingung Ausflugsziel, denn kennt seine Heimat wie die Westentasche.

Très bel établissement : chambre spacieuse et confortable ! Propreté irréprochable ! Salle de bain impeccable, avec une très belle cabine douche, moderne et spacieuse. La restauration est proposée dans une « Weinstube » toute proche, service avec le sourire, très bons conseils œnologiques, repas d’excellente qualité. Nous reviendrons ! Bravo et merci
