Gorillas Volcanoes Hotel

"This hotel was all we needed: clean, not expensive, with a bathtub in each room, a good view on the swimming-pool, very friendly staff, good breakfast when you want, cheap beers, not far from the town center, close to several good restaurants (Muhabura, Amikus, Migano), etc. We went to the caves on the first day. And enjoyed the swimming-pool, the bathtub and the spacious room in the afternoon. On the second day, we had breakfast at 6.00 am (incredible!) and then we climbed Mount Sabynyo. It was really nice. We saw a group of gorillas on our way back. I didn't imagine they were so huge! We came back at around 4:00 pm. We had already checked out, but the receptionist said we could take a shower in our room. And we had a shower! Wow! So friendly! I slept in about 10 hotels in Ruhengeri (Musanze). To me, this one was the best. If I go back to that town, I won't have to search for a new hotel. I already know: Gorillas Volcanoes Hotel."

"We went there in september to visit Muzanze, the volcano park etc. The place is beautiful and peaceful. The food is really good and maybe you can enjoy a good fire after a hike day on the valcanos :) Each guest (or 2 guests) has a small house surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The manager, Risper, is lovely. She is always here for you to help organize your activities, booking drivers to get anywhere you want to go if you don't have car. She will make your stay so much enjoyable. Blaise & Sophie"

"It's conveniently located near the center of town, and you can relax on the sofas in the pretty garden. After talking to the very kind staff, I was able to rent a bicycle. On the day I went hiking in the national park, they arranged for breakfast to be brought forward and for a motorbike taxi to pick me up. The price is very reasonable, as it includes a breakfast of plenty of fruit and freshly baked omelettes."
