My stay at the Colliers Premier Inn was everything I needed. It was clean, warm, comfortable and I could relax before I enjoyed a meal next door in the evening and a good breakfast the following morning. Everything was fine thank you and I would be happy to stay there again. I have, in fact, stayed there before when I stayed for a week with my disabled husband using a room for disabled clients. It was very good then as well.

The lady on reception when we checked in was fantastic! She was brilliant with our girls who's birthday it was, she made a fuss of them gave them chocolates and made a note to the restaurant and they put a banner on the table for them, this lady is an absolute credit to the company. However the room was not although nice a clean with fresh bedding, the bath had rust stains all over it and this is meant to be newly refurbished according to the website, but the worst was the heat and air-conditioning which was extremely noisy we got the AC turned on and left it running whilst we went for dinner to cool the room when we returned it was cool enough so we switched it off, at 1am I was awake because of the heat I got up to open the window for fresh air which does not open, I found a fan on a shelf and switched that on to try and cool down, at 2 am I was awake again because of the heat, the thermostat was reading 27 degrees so I switched the AC on and at 4:30 my partner was awake because of the noise of the AC unit, neither of us slept very well and when we went to complain in the morning no staff was to be found just a box to drop the card in and a QR code to leave a review, we wanted to use Thier "good night's sleep guarantee" but with no staff to speak too you cannot use this. I think the problems are obviously regular hence why no staff the next day it's a shame as other than the morning the previous day they were fantastic and regardless of how much paid for the room when you've not slept it's never good value

I’m 5 foot 8 tall and my feet were hanging over the end of the bed it was that small and was therefore very uncomfortable for 2 nights. Room 1 was next to the communal door to upstairs and the self closer was allowing the door to make a noise when closing waking me up constantly. The upstairs floor was creaking when the occupants of the bedroom walked on it , very noisy and unpleasant when trying to sleep at 5am. The air con was useless and the room was so stuffy. There was not enough staff in the canteen to maintain the food requirements of a busy canteen

Angie on reception is excellent been here months always happy and helpful. Great service It's wonderful to hear about such positive experiences. Warm friendly welcome from staff - Angela and Sam. Comfortable clean, well heated room, good facilities. Good location with meal deal for connected pub next door. Pub served good food at reasonable prices. Nothing else to say but I've stayed twice and both times fine.
